Has the Halloween update brought out all the morons?

Similar experience the other day. Had a very rough string of matches, not because the enemy teams were particularly good but because my own teams were largely worthless. Can't post pics right now, but one match I had 640k damage, 6 kills, 4 beacons. Only one other player on my team broke 300k damage in that painful loss...plus I was the only one on my team with more than two beacons. Two of our guys got one each, and the other two didn't even grab one beacon.

That was merely the highlight. The other matches were similarly abysmal; snipers on Dead City are useful only in extremely rare circumstances, and one match I spawned next to FOUR arty/sniper Natasha's. The number of Insanity-type bots in the field is also higher than normal; saw one Patton with four different weapons, including a Noricum. Plus a Thunder/Kang Natasha...didn't bother checking what that guy's other guns were.

Yeah, I'd say the idiots are out in force. Times like these, I wish I could drop my Thunder Carnage and turn my guns on my own team.

A week ago I played every map, 3 days ago I started to skip Springfield and Yamantau because it seemed like I was always getting mid and long range players and I would have to do everything on my own. Today I've started to skip every map except dead city and powerplant because I can carry games on those maps since they're perfect for my bots. I had been checking this for a few days and every time I play on Shenzhen and canyon I always have at least 4 non short range players and the person that is usually has an average below 200,000 weirdly the enemy team seems to be almost always a squad of maxed players.

I don't know about morons, but I've had two battles today so far that came down to 1 on 1 at the end with 3-4 minutes of game time left. The tier I play (I think high bronze) usually there are numerous left on each side, with occasionally a 4-1 or 5-2 situation at the end. I've never seen it where it was just me and one red with 3 minutes left. Not sure if people are just not re-spawning and waiting it out to get their 2 pumpkins or what.

In high silver, Noticed a lot more of the crazy set ups on heavy bots with mixed range weapons galore on Leo's and Natasha's. Hopefully, a sign that folks returned to the game for the event....or bought bots for the event. I know they didn't win them with pumpkins!
Been having a number of good matches the last two days as everyone is fighting harder for those pumpkins (I guess).

Halloween has definitely lowered the average skill of the players I'm with. I just played a match on Springfield. I capped a side beacon then headed to center while a stalker got our other side beacon. I then sat behind a building at the center beacon and watched five reds shoot at the building I was behind for three minutes without anyone moving. The blue players were way back doing goodness knows what. The one red not shooting the building was a cossack circling around to our side beacon. I saw two blues near it so I figured it would be alright. Nope. The red capped it and moved on, and the two blues standing near the beacon didn't move to recapture. @_@

The lowered average skill means the promotion is expanding the player base. So stop your whining.
