I currently run in Masters II/I with a relatively average meta'd hangar:
Level 10 Bulgasari with 3x level 11 Scourge
Level 10 Spectre with 4x level 11 Tulumbas
Level 9 Bulgasari with 3x level 11 Tarans
Level 9 Haechi with 3x level 11 orkans
swing slot with Ancilot/Rhino/Fury running variety of level 10-11 weapons (all bots level 10)
I have a fairly decent inventory as well. What is the meta for FFA? I assume spectres are the order of the day for FFA running orkans and tarans? What would be an ideal hangar? I only have the one spectre, what can I run as a distant second best?
Thanks in advance for the advice!

I would change the Spectre to Orkans or Scourges. Other than that, maybe throw in a good starter bot, mayber a Pursuer or something that can last the initial engagement. In my experience, that first bot I drop almost never lasts very long because chances are, you have 2 bots gunning for you. If I survive that initial engagement, great, I'll move on and see how far I go. If I don't, then it's a bot that I likely won't use to respawn again since respawning bots takes more and more tokens. The two toughest bots to take down in the initial fight are either Haechis or Stealth bots. So, I flip a coin in my head. I like my Scourge/Spark Hover because I have more than an even chance to take out the Haechi, and a decent chance to get away from stealth bots and let them fight the other person who spawned close by.

Your assumption is spot on. Stealth is king in FFA in my experience in FFA Champions League. Spectre, pursuer, inquisitor, mercury in addition to your Bulgasari and Haechi.
As far as your hangar I'd put orkans on the spectre. Your hangar is geared for FFA already but for that change. Doesn't really matter what u use for the 5th slot. If you have something with stealth great. If not put in anything and use it as your first spawn throwaway lol. Or wait about 20 seconds before you drop in. Once you start racking up kills you can spam the same bot over and over again.
Good luck!

Only issue with scourge spectre... do not drop it first, unless you're the last one to drop. The closest rocket bot will toast you before you get a lock.
