Considering the pursuer can lap a lancelot faster than any robot in the game (aside from the hellburner I guess) Why does it have such a slow turn speed?
A zenit raijin can on a dime but a "light" medium bot can't??.
Did PIX every explain why or is this just a thing we have to accept as a means to balance this bot?

You could try to ask one, but it's usually too busy punching you in the face! Bam that little guy is the closest the game has come to duplicating the old Thunder Carnage death spirals.
Honestly, I have not noticed a slow turning radius. I'm often running straight at the red that just came off of descend though. I'll pay closer attention next time.

You’re right. I went through my bots and Pursuer has noticeably the slowest turn speed out of Spectre, Haechi, Mercury, and Inquisitor. Bots all level 9 or higher.

Point exactly. I really don't understand why they did this. Even with the slow radius you can still circle bots but you have to be like 25 meters away. If you try to hug them you can barely keep up without the speed boost.
I hope they reconsider this

If it would turn faster, it would be even more deadly. Which it is already.

The original post was concerning pixonc's decision to make the pursuer turn so slowly The original question was if anyone knew why pix made the decision which is why I made this thread in the tips section. Complaining is for the rants section.

And yes I can compare any bot. That's the whole point. I used a raijiin as an example. I wasn't intentionally targeting spider bots, I just so happened to pick raijin. Lancelot turns just as fast too

If it would turn faster, it would be even more deadly. Which it is already. This. It’s called compensation. And yes, they should’ve made the Spectre turn even slower.

It seems to have the slower turning speed that bots from 2 years ago had. Back then, an efficient tactic was circling heavy bots with lighter ones, because they couldn't keep up. Turning speed was super slow for heavy bots.
I didn't notice it until now, but I haven't found it to matter much on the Pursuer.

I had spectre soon after it came out.
It was much more nimble when first released - would turn on a dime.
Later on, without announcing, it appeared to be far less nimble, taking a couple seconds rather than fraction of second to switch directions. It is much harder to dodge other orkans now.
Since we know Rhino has a torso-turning-limit stat - I would not be suprised to find one on every bot.
We just don’t get to see the stat and Pix adjust it without explaining why for whatever reason.

Persuer's turn gyroscope has less lube.
Raijin's in bastion mode has so much lube it's just gross, to be blunt.
