I was just in a match where I got rolled by a 4 slot, Gold II with 378 wins running ~6/6 gear and was like, "?whiskey tango foxtrot??"
Then I remembered that Boosters are transparent and stackable. It would be super nice, even just in the results, if we knew what people had used Booster-wise and if they were stacked with a Squad/Clan.
I can accept getting beaten by superior skill, I just wish we had a way to know when it happened.

I can accept getting beaten by superior skill, I just wish we had a way to know when it happened. If the GoldII 6/6 person was not in a squad, boosters won't stack. It will just make his/her gears like ~7/6.5. Plus perhaps 10% shorter ability cooldown and 10% faster speed, if the person was using those boosters.
The cooldown and speed boosters, I think, shouldn't be introduced. But how much those would actually help, again I think, is situational. Perhaps he's somewhat skilled - could be a smurf account, could be a smurf 6/6 hangar account,

You know, I thought about this and my next thought was that Pix may have introduced the New Economy in part to penalize 6/6 guys...takes forever now.

I run a 6/6, 4 banger hanger in Gold II, solo. If I get free boosters I will use them. They help some, but they don't break the game and turn a bad player into an ace.
I get surprised by good pilots with lesser hangars now and again. There are some wicked pilots out there!

The biggest drawback for boosters is that ability cooldown. I know I would count in anticipation of them being able to use it again, and 2 seconds makes a big difference on occasion. I've basically adjusted by assuming everyone's is shorter.

I've basically adjusted by assuming everyone's is shorter. Just to clarify, there's a Booster that reduces cool down (by a couple of seconds)? That makes sense...I guess I have noticed it but it's subtle enough not to smack you in the face.
