Wonder Woman vs Wolverine

@earlcampbell, I'm gonna nerd out for a minute...

Only two ways to kill Wolverine, assuming his own adamantium skeleton isn't at the moment poisoning him. One way is a muramasa sword, which negates his healing ability. The other way is to remove his head from his body and keep the two separated. Which won't kill him outright, but does have a significant impact on his ability to fight. To kill him, even after cutting off his head, you'd have to completely annihilate his head so that not even a single cell remained. Yes, Hulk did one time rip him clean in half...but Wolverine crawled away from that and eventually put himself back together. He lost, but didn't get killed. Wolverine kinda has a history of doing precisely that, in fact.

Whereas WW is indeed superior in every other way, pretty much. She's one of the few characters who can go toe to toe with Superman, and she has no real weaknesses. In fact under some iterations, Batman (who has a plan for everything) confesses to Clark Kent that Superman is probably the only thing that could stop WW if she ever goes rogue. And he's not even too sure about that, because WW is vastly superior to Supes in hand-to-hand combat; plus she's willing to kill if necessary, and Superman generally isn't.

Could Wolverine kill WW? His claws have pierced the Hulk's skin, so they could most likely wound WW. Probably he could kill her, if he could get a clean shot in; WW's physiology is fairly straightforward, and while she can heal from a lot of things, her survivability is mainly due to tankiness rather than regeneration. Still, Wolverine has a very, very small chance of being able to deliver a clean killshot, thanks to WW's speed and strength. Gonna say this one's unlikely to end in Wolverine's favor.

However it's equally unlikely that WW could actually kill Wolverine and keep him down. Beat him? More than likely. But stop him for good...eh, no. No one's ever been able to do that, and not only because of plot armor. Even if you put him in the ground, sooner or later his regeneration will kick in and bring him back to life.

Wonder Woman most likely wins any fight, but there'd be a whole lot more than just one fight. Eventually she might let Wolverine kill her just to stop being annoyed by his persistence...lmao.
