Man, he loves defending the cluster「fluffernutter」 that is War Robots.
Thoughts to take away - get tokens to get gold / components get gold for deals / upgrades get battle rewards for silver / tokens get supply drops for silver and keys get keys to get gold / silver and random crap (looking at you gust / storm / arbalest)
War Robots, where you grind to your grave.

Have you seen another thread topic pix announcement; that their going to fix the goldchest? that a good start to redeem themselves off a bad start from a bad start.

Pixonic doesn't have a good track record (too many to list), so the pessimism is well justified.
If Pixonic wants respect, growth, etc., they need to earn it (revisit a lot of decisions made in the last 12 months).

I’m sure nobody wants to hear this. But honor rewards gives ridiculous returns.
If you complete champion tree it’s a filthy amount of tokens silver and components.
I ran that 4 times last month. Came away with almost 2 avenger. And 1 Weyland + 1 mender and 1.5 chimera.
Plus enough silver to mk2 BOTH avenger and enough gold to max them out and buy third hangar slot.
Using the tokens carefully in the royale will give you gold and finish bots.
Does this take time? Yes it takes time . But it’s much more reasonable than the haechi or bulgi events.
Those took nonstop effort for 2 weeks. These can be completed in your own time

New economy essentially locks new (or returning in my case) players in low leagues indefinitely.

I see some sign of actual improvement with the goldchest, so yes, be more optimistic! Pix will make War Robots great again! It's a bit too late for me though. I am not leaving my new playground now. Oh and I think Adriannn is one of the more respected, if not most, War Robots youtuber already. However I think people are looking for some "other" opinions from him, rather than just broadcasting whatever Pix throws out.

To reach champion crate requires 1650 HP, and he made it 4 times. The total being 6,600 HP. So, let's assume the person is always number 1 (big assumption), this translates to 660 games, which yields 10HP/game. Given each game is 10 minutes, this now becomes 6600 minutes. which equates to 110 hours. Given July had 31 days, by simple division we get 3.5 hours/day. Forgive me for being blunt but the amount of time required to get such items is what i find ridiculous.

New economy essentially locks new (or returning in my case) players in low leagues indefinitely. Evil and droopy(the other guys in the vid) say that to Adrian in response to his basically saying "I had to grind, in champs, it was rough" It's also glossed over that all of these things in game are meant to sidetrack and confuse folks, with Adrian's response being "Boosters help you earn more" without mention of all of the resource nerfs. I don't know about anyone else, but old BM, pre components, was way better than the mess we have now. Whereas the hosts said that they feel Pix will tone back the ridiculous econ change, Adrian's response was that "we don't see the bigger picture yet", so, looks like upgrade times and costs are here to stay. It was made very clear by the hosts, that the new player environment is very unwelcoming, and that it will likely lead to a downturn in newbies, and as such, players in general. Rumor mill about the matchmaker, we might see a complete overhaul if the state of the game becomes dire. I wouldn't put too much hopes into that happening before such a crunch.

Forgive me for being blunt but the amount of time required to get such items is what i find ridiculous. Actually yea this month, that’s about how much time. Two reasons. 1) use the 15 minute honor point booster. Get 3 games in. This means yo need to end two of your games in under 15 minutes to ride the 3rd for profit. This should yield a net of around 25 pts minimum. 2) any time the skirmish is out, it’s near guaranteed max honor points. The ffa games are guaranteed 10 pts. So these days are honor booster free days. Sweet deal since they yield honor. The entire honor reward tree is around 5000 gold to spend and get with honor reward booster. So doing it 4 times = two times. But wait, you spent 10k gold?? It takes money to make money. Or in this game, gold. I didn’t have to spend. Why? Because I earn gold from the daily , the gold chest, winning games, and most importantly the royale. So in reality, I spend half the time , to get twice the reward.

Honest answer : depends totally on the time of the year for my work, the current meta, the season (and any event rewards in that season), and frankly my mood on the game. When I’m working a project, just enough to collect daily’s , supply drop and maybe some clock time just to kill hours. So most of this year I played only a little. When I’m free , and I really like the event schedule (like this month)I pound say 3-5 in a day. Just really depends on my work schedule, and my family time. But I tend to binge when playing and other times just drop off to near zero.

Pixonic had a good start, that's why we love this game. And to think that all of us are upset over nothing and just need to change our attitude is ridiculous. You're gaslighting us and it is very disrespectful. And now personal attacks against Thunder, I believe you've violated the forum rules and you're simply lucky the mods don't enforce them. Adrian is a nice guy, but naive and senselessly optimistic like you. He'd gloss over anything Pixonic would do at this point.

(Didnât see any new threads on this post 4.0 & new Econ) Noticed the last Bulwark royale has a TON of gold, like 7500 - compared to much meager payouts for the other royales. I was tempted enough to play a few cards for the first time in a while. Hit all the trash as expected, and didnât have enough tokens to make a serious push so cut it off at 40k tokens. But got me thinking maybe there is a strategy to wait for gold loaded royales to hit hard, now that I could care less about getting any of the new component gear they include.

Adrian is not one of us. He cannot possibly speak for 'regular' players because he is not one himself. He gets top-tier, maxed out gear from Pigsuckit for making videos. Maybe he does have his own personal account where he has to grind for stuff, but the fact is he has all the highest end gear that he DID NOT HAVE TO GRIND FOR. Spin it any way you want, he does not and cannot have the same perspective toward the game as the rest of us.

Because that’s what champions do in any competitive game or sport. You wanna be the best, you put the hours in. Grinding isn't a way to train, in fact it is usually completely counterproductive to training as it often ingrains bad habits. That has been known for years in traditional sports, and Stephano's amazing out of nowhere success training a mere 25% at most of what the best players in the world were training in StarCraft exemplified it for esports. All real sports are based on comparing players by skill, but in War Robots the top player is the person who grinded the most, which is not a product of skill.

HAHA he doesn't get crap for making videos from PIX except the use of the Rec Account which if you look at his weekly activity numbers he doesn't play 1/10th what he does his normal account. I should end right here as it just shows the ignorance but I wont! As for the same perspective as the rest of us...... You mean those that haven't played 8 hours a day for 4 years. He does very well with his perspective to those at his level. Funny how everyone complains he cant relate when they are the ones not relating to where he is at. It is his account and YouTube channel after all. Does he rant and rave at Pix? No Does he like everything they do? No Does he play the game like few do putting in untold hours YES he has. Chill out on hating someone who isn't a 「cotton headed ninny muggins」 and save it for Pix and the carpetbaggers that haven't invested all the time and energy into the game that he has. OK I am out of this thread now carry on the hate and bashing its so cool and easy to do.

All real sports are based on comparing players by skill, but in War Robots the top player is the person who grinded the most, which is not a product of skill. You don’t repeat the same mistakes. You do review your mistakes each time around and repeat. And I disagree with you doing the most damage in games as well, although it certainly helps. It’s very difficult for me to be the high score in games. My hangar doesn’t permit it. But if you think it doesn’t take skill for me to run raijin in champion your nuts. My hangar neither maxed out nor is it munchkin. Perhaps princess bots help to get you to champion. But champion is a big place. It starts at 5k and goes very high. And I can say with certainty that a low champion is not as good as a high one. I can tell certain legend league players are better than me, and it’s not from their spectre hangar. So I just don’t buy your logic ok thus either. Repetition is the key to success, and while Stephano may not play as much as others (or claims not to), he certainly plays more than most do, and honestly he’s not that good anyway (although far better than most of us) As for body building , I happen to be one, and repetition most certainly builds muscle. Again you practice first your form. For instance practicing the perfect rep with a light weight, then gradually increasing it.
