Got a question: How increasing the silver requirements by 3x, the upgrade time by 3 times helping things? The people that are pimped out already will now have more time to roll over us and keep us in the lower leagues so we can't get the silver from the crates from the higher leagues.
Even if we manage to stay in the higher leagues it takes forever to cycle through the honor crates and doesn't even begin to put a dent in the new cost-of-living.
Now I have a very underleveled hanger with underleveled old school bots and have still snuck into Masters league III with a cripling win average of 35% so that is a thing, but they just keep making it more difficult and longer to ramp up a hanger. I would much rather be able to level the stuff I have up quicker than to get the new stuff quicker. Just put things back the way they were!
Old Scourge - 19K to get from 11 to 12 and 3.5 days upgrade time, my new Scourge that still took me a month to get, 58K to get from 11 to 12 and 10 days upgrade time, 「whiskey tango foxtrot」!?!?!
And that is AFTER dumping tons of silver into workshop points for offers, using gold for offers and spending a month just getting the damn thing.
And thus ends my rant.

Also under leveled, I would definitely prefer being able to upgrade faster.
Or maybe for Pixonic to add like 3 new leagues. That'd help spread the levels out in MMing some more.
I will probably just focus on leveling my current hangar, and just not level anything new I get. It would have been nice to experiment on hangar setups but, ah well.

The new upgrade times are utterly ridiculous they will only serve to drive new potential players away it's the number one gripe in any game and the leading cause of games failing because even the coiners feel ripped off especialy if the game adds new technologies at a rapid rate like pix is currently doing.

Do you have old economy items? Why not level them and ignore the new stuff? Ex bring your old economy scourge to MKII. Tulumbas are pretty good in the current meta you can hit those hiding bots. You may have some old economy tulumbas?
While you do that time goes by and we see where this economy change develops. At least this is what I do.

Definitely focusing on upgrading the stuff I currently have before they change the silver and time requirements on those too! Just sucks that I spent a lot of gold and workstation points (silver) on offers to get a second scourge and now it just seems like too much time and silver to bother with  I also agree that this is going to drive players away for the exact reason stated above, you can't get anything upgraded and enjoy it before something new comes out. Players thrive on that good feeling you get something new and can see it level up, but if the carrot is too far away, we give up. They are already losing money from me (not much, but a $10 a month) as I was doing premium to get enough silver, but now that it takes so long to upgrade, there is no point, so I let it run out a month ago and don't plan on renewing it. Other than trying to clear out a glut of gold in peoples accounts (by making them use it to speed upgrades), I am not sure of their logic here. |

OMG.. gonna be getting my 3rd scourge Sat to fit onto my bulg.. the upgrade cost/time is one grim mother「fluffernutter」er on that.
It's almost like they play a joke.. Lv7 6 days, Lv8 7 days, Lv9 8 days, 9, 10, 11 days.
2 months time to get to lv12 mk1 and 170 multi layer silver.
compared to 48ml and 13 days for legacy scourge.. wow.
I wanted a 4th and 5th to outfit on one of my kumi but to hell with that.
*gets out tin can* anyone can spare some change?

i hear you bro, my upgrade queue is backed up because I have to wait 30+ days just to get to level 10. That's f'n ridiculous.
