STFU is pathetic - Please tell me how tanking is worse

I was squadding with one clanie last night and more than half of our games were against full 6 man Champions League squads mostly fully maxed and I bet they were on boosters along with comms. Not fun. Not sure why Pix is matching individuals against coordinated maxed/boosted squads.

The game can’t recognize if people are on comms. So what it tries to do is match squads vs squads, which has its own set of frustrating flaws. Anyone who squads with 1-2 people just for fun (maybe you saw someone you haven’t seen in awhile in a prior game and want to play some games with him) knows what I’m talking about. Just squading alone puts you against these fully boosted try-hard squads on comms. And it’s an awful mismatch.

Then MM tries to find you other squads to fill 6 player teams but it finds you Master-Expert squads which is worse than if they gave you 4 random Champions.

They shouldn’t try to go fancy with the MM; it always falls back to it being better if they match teams with equal bot/weapon levels like the old MM.

There is more than one way to win a KOTH game. I can understand your frustration though.

I recently joined a clan again after playing solo for six months,after only a couple of games of squadding and our whole squad getting meched out game after game I realised why I started playing solo.It was not a fun time and was in fact a complete waste of my time.Going back to solo now,nothing I saw playing in squads made me feel any better about this game.

Squad or no squad. Your merely seeing what has been a complaint since they change the MM, and gave losing side positive points for damage. There were maps that were ruined even as Dom, cause people would just sit there, and get damage from long distance. Also, people are protesting the random selection. It may be your team dealing with a overpowered clan squad. But, it could just be(per the MM) your time to lose and you got a team of Numnuts.

Sorry again OP lil bit off topic. Man are you sure booster is making lag? Not because some hardware related? I use mot9 g5s plus and the game is crashing alot but my friend is using Xiaomi and he is fine.

And for the OP, well I can't say tanking is okay or not okay, i mean in this harder environment how can i complaint. I fell your pain in that match, i do, but i couldn't say more.

Last year between Jan and April voice comms was just becoming popular. Then the game was updated and those interminable events were jammed into the game and rank tanking became all too prevalent. Many players got fed up and quit, deleting the game and never coming back. Others just got tired of attempting to use comms while half or more of their "team" was not even trying to win anymore. Comms just started to fade away very quickly after that. Very few clans even do it anymore making those that do so stand out.

Use of comms is certainly not a cheat. War Robot's original developers were fully intending that comms be a part of the game before they got fed up with mail.ru's bull「dookie」 and left the company. The events and rank tankers nearly eliminated it. If some are still using it then that's a good thing. It promotes teamwork. Maybe it will start catching on again. For the short time I was able to do so it was fun and entertaining as well as a tactical advantage.

This. My clan plays "Killer Koth" where the purpose is to bot the other team out. This was developed partly because the 4 game modes lumped together doesn't allow for the speediest hangers and partly because our own squads have players ranging from Diamond to Champion (ie survival). We are usually matched up against all champion squads.

The use of comms and adapting styles of play is the only way to compete against champion level mk2 squads with boosters when our team doesn't have maxed out equipment.

This is not to say we play killer koth every koth game. We adapt as the game demands.

"We're screwed here. We need to bot them out!"

"Joker put your wife on....she's a far stronger player on this map."

Regardless of how we finish it's always a great experience on discord with the group.

I've been comm squading with Hand of Fate for about a year now and can say with certainty that I wouldn't be playing anymore if I didn't find them. After a year we know each other so well we really bust on each other. So much fun.
