Hi guys
I am about to build a 6-pack hangar, but in order to avoid wasting too much time upgrading stuff I won't be using, I am looking for a little feedback. I know the "meta" is Five Flavours of Griffins, but I would like to run a little variety in my hangar. That said I have no idea how stuff performs at base level 6 matchups, so I realize I might have to chop and change a little over time.
I have in storage the following old bots all under level 6 (number of bots/weps in paranthesis): Fujin (3) Rogatka (3) Stalker (3) Griff (6) Natasha (3) Jesse (4) Gareth (2) Leo (4) Galahad (1) Carnage (2) Patton (3) Boa (2) Raijin (2) I have tons of other old bots like Vitiyaz, Gepard and Golem etc but I they aren't exactly the kind of droids I'm looking for.
I have the following equipment: Trident (4) Treb (3) Zeus (4) Ancile (1) Thunder (10+) Tulu (10+) Pin (10+) Orkan (4) Pinata (10+) Taran (1) Mag (5) Aphid (6) Gekko (5) Puns (10+)
I have been opening silver chests lately in the hope of snagging a Rhino, Lance or Fujin but no such luck so far. I am complentating building the following hangar:
Taran/Mag Galahad Orkan Rogatka DB Griffin Punisher Fujin
Last place is decidedly undecided I am thinking either 1) Aphid Jesse, Thunder Carnage or Punisher Griffin for support (ancile poppin' and the like) 2) RDB Griffin, Zeus/Gekko Natasha or Zeus Carnage to get some range
Thoughts?

Try out the bots you like in practice and see what works. Depends on your playstyle. I like fast stuff and support so I run 2x orkan Rogs, RDB griff, taran fujin, and punisher/a file lance. Usually there is a carnage instead of lance but I was stupid and mistakenly upgraded it to level 7. You have all the bots and equipment you'll ever need. Hope to play with/against you soon. I'm on the Honey Badgers team.

Still new to 6/6
However,
Rogs are a good fast bot. Loading with Tarans or orkins about equal. Not tried punishers yet. Leos and nats are good for range especially loaded with zeuses. Not many trebs in the bunch i run with. Lances good as could be expected. The western bots also useful.
Lots of bullets. LOTS of bullets. Plasma there but bullets are meta. Rockets as well.

From your list, I would run:
A Rog (Ork or Taran, your choice) to cap
Maybe 2 Griffs (Punisher or PDB or DB or Stuka)
A Fujin (Punisher or Orkan)
Maybe save up for a Lance if you like to run that kind of bot (Tarancilot or Punishalot or Thunder Orkan Lance)
Zarnage is also good if you are looking for more range.
The Fujin is an acquired taste so be careful with that. That lineup would get you caps and damage and is very close to what I run currently. Good luck Ironstar, glad you finally are taking the plunge.

Im gonna be building a 6pack hanger also, Here's what im gonna put together. Rog - Orkan Griff - Punisher Fujin - Molot Leo - Thunder/Pinata Lance - Taran/Ancile
I've watched a few videos, I'd say build the hanger to your taste, However when it doubt.. griffin. Most bots are MR/CR
Didn't see a lot of LR

The strongest bots seem to be rogs, lances, griffins, rhinos, leos and fujins, imho.
As you may have noticed, punishers are a ubiquitous element, along with tulumbas to a slightly lesser extent. You can't go wrong with either.
As a result, anciles are also crucial. This makes ancilots very strong, but by no means invincible. A punisher ancilot is a particularly good choice.
If you don't have a lance, then leos make a good stand in, especially with an ancile.
As the meta shifts to compensate, plasma has been playing more of a role lately, so tarans are able to bring that anti-ancile element you may need.
The plasma fujin is particularly strong in the right hands. I know this first hand as my team has an exceptional pilot who wields one with the talent of a surgeon.
You seem to have a good combination of stuff to use. Come practice with us and try your choices out. You will quickly learn what works for you.
See you on the battlefield.

The meta does seem to be shifting to Plasma, and away from rockets to an extent (and importantly not away from Punishers). That may open up space for the Galahad.

Thank you all for the feedback. I have decided to focus in this setup initially: The Leo is more or less a placeholder for a Lance, have been spinning silver chests like crazy, but no dice so far. The one-armed Griffin will get a 2nd Taran soon, it seems like one will be as a prize in the event otherwise I will just get one with WSP. Might substitute the PDB griffin with a Taran Rog, will have to do some field testing. Also considering making the DB Griff into a Stuka Griff instead in order to soften up anciles from cover before pouncing with Orkans. Will also need some field testing. I'm looking forward to get it all to 6 and start playing some games. It's awesome that 6 is the cap, as even with the dreaded New Economy, upgrade times and costs will be manageable when I get my Lance and Taran.

The meta does seem to be shifting to Plasma, and away from rockets to an extent (and importantly not away from Punishers). That may open up space for the Galahad. In our final match against EZ Reapers, they fielded a total of 4 Galahads and 5 Rogs with only 2 ancile bots (both Ancilots) versus our 2 Rogs and 9 Ancile bots (4 ancilots). It was a great meta choice (they normally would be like 1 and 2 and 4-sh themselves), despite there still being a 1/3-ish split between plasma, misiles and ballistics in our weapons (both sides). I love how the meta continues to ebb and flow 8 months into our involvement with 6 Pack.
