It's not kill stealing. It's not (just) tankers. It's that key moment when your underleveled tharnage at 1k health is being approached by the scumbag mk2 Orkan Specter (in Expert 3) and you have about 100 meters before he is in range, and you want to deny him a kill... So you try to switch bots. You click the bot, click yes, and NOTHING happens. I tried switching bots twice just now, and it didn't work either time. And it always happens when I try to deny 1st place a kill. I don't even care if I'm in 2nd place and lose my ranking, I will almost always deny a 1st place tanker their kill. However, I guess Wallet Warriors get Perx from Pix...
I coin Perx, right now, as the term used to describe perks given to wallet warriors by Pix.

Orkan spectres are broken in ffa
-insane burst damage -fast speed to avoid peeps -stealth jump for ez 1 vs 1 -has too much mobility and flexibility -that splash damage makes 1 vs 1 even easier not needing to aim very well -arguably the best bot/setup to start off since there are two people who spawn nearby

I have Spec ork's in D3, learn to deal with them cause they're not going away.. you need a fast bot to fight them.. if you have stealth or dash you got a chance, the only other way to get them is via range.
Slow bots are just walking bags of silver... there's no out tanking a spec ork.
In FFA mobility is king.. you need to get around to be able to scavenge kills as well as to avoid danger.
Wait for them to make the first move, use cover to your advantage, never get caught in the open with one, quiz, haechi, stalker.. I can kill a spec ork.. but it's like fighting a cobra.. they die easily but they kill easy too.

Soon as Spectre comps were available I ceased all other pursuits and bought only these (WP, Royale, etc.).
You can't beat em, so you can only uninstall or join em.

I'm not dissing specters, in case that's what was taken from this. What I am dissing is the fact that when the #1 Tanker in the match is approaching you the game won't let you deny him a kill. GG Pix

Personally, I have an explicative word to describe pilots who deny kills, but that's just my opinion. Unsportsmanlike is the kindest definition I can give the action. You don't know it's a tanker until the end of the match and I've had many an FFA match when I was the only Master in the bunch of Experts, or have been the only Master in a match full of Champions. Wasn't my choice, I can only hit the battle button.
Sometimes you're the fodder, sometimes you're the cannon. Either way, I do the best with what I have and move on. Life doesn't end every time a bot gets blown up or a battle is lost. Heck, I haven't seen a win rate over 44% in 2 months. Thing is, I still earn major bank doing damage.
I made a conscious decision many updates ago to level my weapons above my bots and in the end it has served me well. I also chose to limit the number of bots to simplify the choice of what to upgrade. I don't have a second hanger and don't have enough bots to fill one if I spent the Au to get it. Quality over quantity.

It's not the tankers making FFA crap, it's the design of FFA. Being able to reuse the same bot over and over is flat out stupid.

It's not the tankers making FFA crap, it's the design of FFA. Being able to reuse the same bot over and over is flat out stupid. With only 5 bots, matches would last, what ... 4 minutes. We're talking about instant action, and constant brawling. Saying it's stupid, just shows your bias towards the mode. You don't like it, we get it. But, maybe playing it can help you with your Dom and Rush brawling.
Now let's say you do make it 5 bots. My question would be: do you like the camping meta that is now so prevalent in random? 5 precious bots, one you lose within 20 seconds if you spawn 2nd position, or 4th position, or any other 「dookie」 sandwich scenario.
so... there's that.

Nope, it's all I play. I just think it would be better if it was the normal 5 and out - I'd likely be playing the same hangar.
I should point out that it usually lasts ten minutes - where Domination would often last less than that - and ends up with 3 people playing ring-around-the-roses.

Quality over quantity. I understand your distaste towards kill deniers. And as for knowing they're tankers, it's easy when they're the only Mk2 Orkan Specter in the match in 1st place. That's pretty much the only time I deny their kills. However, this game won't let me. It happened again today, and even better, right after he decided to target a low health Kumiho nearby. Here's where the Perx show... EVERY Taran shot I sent at him went right through... Literally half a clip. I couldn't deny him a kill, and I couldn't kill him either. THAT's what I am talking about, PERX. And 44% Win rate? This is my hangar. I just barely made it to Expert, and I refuse to drop back to Diamond. At Diamond 1, when I started climbing quickly, my average damage was like 900k. The moment I hit expert, every game was dominated by dash/descend bots, and my average went down to 600k. Since then, I've climbed back up to 800k without dropping leagues. This has been about a week in Expert, also. The only games I do good on now are large maps where my Fury absolutely shines, and on those maps I average 1.5 Mil damage. Sometimes on a smaller map I absolutely destroy with my Stalker. Since I refuse to tank back to Diamond, I have been getting really good in Expert. I relish in the challenge. But it's hard to remain positive when tankers get PERX. And yes, the only thing I've been working towards is a Fury Dragoon. 5k more components for my 3rd, and 7 days for level 12 on my 2nd dragoon. After, Inquis to replace my Lance. Then Kumiho to replace my Carnage. ![](https://i.imgur.com/gTxSdgC.png)

I hate seeing the MM doing this. Doesn't make me a tanker. Now if my stats were 0's, that's another ballgame. At the moment I'm getting my rear handed to me. I hit Champion qualifying yet again, and "suddenly" I can't kill anything and get sandwiched until I get knocked out of the running. Bet money, I'll have 2 or 3 matches against Experts when that happens. Seen it too many times to count. It's a deliberate MM action to frustrate me into spending money.
