Is galahad with a tulumbas and 2 pins a viable build for him?

That would be rather low output and Gala is more for knifing. If you like MR, better use e.g. TriTuluPin Golem (way more firepower + 100m extra in the Trident bit). Save Gala for uses that require a bit more damage resistance.

Griffin Tulumbas/CRV Pins is a better setup.

Agree with the above. In old MM silver tier, rocket golem was a great mid-range setup. In the current environment a RDB Griff is my mid-ranger. Galahads are best with plasma or rockets (Orkan + Pinatas).

VERY SITUATIONAL. Don't use this setup for damage or as a Mid-Range damage focused bot. If you use this, then use it as only a Galahad can.
I used to say never use it. Waste of a good close-in fighter. But then a clan mate talked about maybe using it, and after thinking about it, I gave it a few runs to see if there was ever a reason to do it.
Now, I tried it as a level 8 Gala, level 9 Tulu and Level 8 Pins, and found that if used as a harasser/beacon capper, carefully, it can be a dang good flanking/harassing bot. It even has limited use against TriFuries, the speed of the Galahad is the only thing that gives it a decent chance, not by dodging the Tridents but because you can get from cover to cover at a decent pace, but only if they aren't JUST focused on you. Their attention must be divided. In Canyon, I could hide behind one of the big rock formations, and when he fired on someone else, I would hand him some rockets, then either move to another rock formation, or back to where I was. The damage isn't the best... so it ends up being more of a distraction, or like I said, a harasser, that can help keep the Fury heads down. However, if there is multiple Furies, they could easily keep you down, instead. That extra 120m range they have on you is deffo an advantage on their side.
On a positive note... this Galahad is good against Zeus Fury, with the Gala shield.
With all that said, I found it to be difficult in most situations to do more than be an annoyance... you won't be winning the game by using the rockets alone. I had to use it for a specific goal... Like the side beacon in Yam that is off the platform on that fallen piece of road. But defending it, once turned, is difficult, as there are a lot of covered routes to get to the beacon in question, and that setup is bad for close in fighting, due to the reload time.
So, in conclusion, I think it could be used with positive results for specific purposes, but I would rather have a carny trident/zeus or RDB for a dedicated, mobile, midrange platform.... personally.

Poor use of the platform.
A Tulu Doc does better in that role (faster, 60% more DPM, weaker against snipers but stronger vs mid-range rockets). The Tulu Galahad has its uses, hunting other Galahad for example, but overall it simply doesn't do enough DPM to be a viable bot in Top tier. IMHO.

DPS is too low to effectively protect beacons in top tier. RDB Griff, Carnage Tridents and tulu Doc are better options for the same role.
