Leo got a 10% health buff. I'm only comparing Thunder and Pothead setups, since Lancelot doesn't have long range capability.
Lancelot Max 170k HP, shield 120k HP x3, Base Speed 30, 10 second sprint (50km/h) 20 second cooldown
Leo Max 226k HP, Base Speed 35
So Leo has now 56k HP advantage. This is pretty considerable on top of the better maneuverability. If you're used to Griffin then Leo should be a perfect fit.
Lancelot with Ancile has the option to run right through corridors in situations the Pothead Leo would get crippled.
Lancelot is the better DB setup but Pinata Leo is silver only.
You could try mid range on Lancelot (tulumbas trident) but I've never seen it in play >.> Leo is pretty common tripin form or zeus gekko (weird but common)
Anyway, I think Leo is a fine bot if you don't have Lance, but if you have Lance, is there any reason to run Leo anymore? I think so
For instance, Lancelot can't carry mags. I'd rather have 3 mags than 2 taran. The burst DPS is almost the same and mags never reload, giving nonstop cover fire, better stats, more kills etc
I run Ancile Mag Leo and have done extremely well with it aftercthe latest update (10/10/10/10/10)
I'm at 4500 Au and haven't made my decision if I want Lancelot

For what it's worth, I squared off with a Lancelot in a Pinata/Thunder Leo yesterday. I took him out after two salvos from the Pinata's, Thunder the whole slow walk in from 300m, but I needed the help a double launch from an Aphid Gepard, and was on vapours after it, so IMHO, Lancelot had a leg up.

I think that many forget the brickfighting ability of a Leo when piloted correctly. Truthfully, I've taken out a fair amount of Lancelot's and Rhino's with my Plodosaurus Rex Leo. I find the main key is maneuvering close to the Lancelot before you attack, and then walk in. When you are climbing up on top of the red bot, your thunder and everything else are, essentially, hitting them in unarmored spots. I do the same thing with Thunder Carnage to Lancelot's and Rhino's. If I can get within 100 meters of them before I attack, I typically walk away from the encounter with at least 1/2 hp left, to engage others. I have yet to see a Lancelot do the same type of thing on other bots, so with that in mind I would say the Leo is, IMHO, a better option.

I think he is trying to make an anti TT Fury Lancelot. But with only one Treb it is not going to be very effective.
