First:
Just give us the option now. We have been asking for it for so long. Geez.
Second:
That is good news. No immortal bots.
Beyond that, I reserve judgement.
I do like that there is an ambulance version and an HQ version. Should make TDM an interesting option. Hmmm... I think they should remove TDM from the queue, only allow these bots in there and not any other mode, and remove the timer. That would be fun for those of us who like tactical sim games that could be blazing fast or long, slow, patience filled affairs.
But yeah, wait and see.
IMO, YMMV

My concerns are: 1. What if there's like 6 of these clumped up? Might be hard to take down and they still have relatively decent firepower. 2. Counter-point to your comment ⓣⓡⓘⓒⓚⓨ48 I don't want to see allies health bars unless its something I can toggle off. Sometimes the screen is already too cluttered.

Oh yeah, I have tons of concerns... but was trying to avoid the usual "The sky is falling" posts that new stuff brings when first talked about but not actually used yet.
2. Right... which is why I am saying that I want the Option like they suggested. Let us decide to turn it on or off.

Curious as to how this will affect scoring. Will healing be as effective as damage. Will the healbots just be a novelty or for more organized play? Imagining 5 Menders dropped at the start of the match will be as morale-busting as 5 Zenith or Nori bots. I'm glad to see that they are trying different things but I'm not sure this game is complex enough to utilize these at maximum effect.

I can see a place for these kinds of support bots in high level clan play... a year ago. When everybody was plodding along in a wall of Lances a mender tailing them would be very good.
These days high level clan battles seem to consists of 2*30 spectres flinging themselves toward each other in a use-and-discard manner that does not lend itself towards a place for a healer bot.

Next run of OP bots...FFA was a get your best bots back mode...These bots will be like a bot with FFA bot power in every mode. OP OP OP OP
Pair one of these medic bots with a Spectre or Hitache and good luck...Dash bots will zip to and from these like humming birds...
I assume it puts weapons blown off back???

Healing robots will solidify the midrange meta permanently.
And I think the audience for these robots is going to be very limited.

*face turns pale* I should certainly hope not! But.. knowing how Pixonic usually runs things.. they very well might. Keeping my fingers crossed for now.

Honestly, not my cup of tea. I'm a fighter not a healer when it comes to this game! I wouldn't worry too much about seeing many healer bots at initial spawn. That would be silly. If I had one, I wouldn't bring it out until 3rd or 4th bot.

healers will help offset the chain damage of the shocktrain decreasing the effectiveness of burst damage builds ONLY if it is used right and not selfishly
healing could both break and save the game, just like a lot of Dixonixs decisions lately

Im actually looking forwards to these to be honest, It could introduce some interesting play dynamics, imagine a bulwark and a heal bot working to heal other bots.. the bulwark would defend the heal bot while the heal bot would do it's job.
Im not too confident we can educate the morons out there about such tactics but in coordinated team play.. could get very interesting.
It would fit perfectly in the 2nd hanger im compiling.. it's gonna be a mr/lr support hanger a heal bot would fit in great.
In the mean time im slowly working on my double ancile carnage. It's low priority ahead of other upgrades but man.. 3 anicle regen is nuts.. they seem to stack so I figure about 9%/sec regen

I figure why haven't we been able to see team health bars only from the start? I mean hell, this is supposedly the mid-distant future with magical physics defying laser weapons. And yet there is no actual turret lock to track enemy bots properly even though that was almost one of the first upgrades we made to tanks when they first came out. Our futuristic scanners can see how damaged the enemy is but cannot even detect damage to our own? Yet we still have a great target lock for our killer homing missiles.
Do we really need an ambulance bot? Matches not lasting long enough? And seriously, what kind of sorcery is PIXONIC employing to get this to occur? It's not like you are going to be making a pit stop leeward of battle while this occurs. Is this yet another example of the same magic that lets a simple laser ricochet off of only enemy bots?
I fully expect at some point that the game goes full Final Fantasy with wizard and sorceress bots and weapons being the predominate feature.

more spider legs.... ?
as for the concept, i guess nice addition for clans. depending on rate of healing i dont see this in regular play as u want more offensive abilities bc thats what the reward system promotes.
lets c

I saw a Rajin like bot in the test video was thinkin did they do a redesign? Its the Weyland! These healing robots makes War Robots more interesting. In the begining I asked on PlayStore for healing items in form of items on the map. But in this form its even better. Hospitals that kicks ?bum-bum?. Mender in action and appearance of Weyland: war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/24842/new-healing-robot-mender

I paired up on with another Weyland, I was sporting 2 flux and he/she has two ancile, we held the red home beacon, fun but once in a blue moon event. I commented to introduce only one mender with a good incentive

Ooooh, looky! An uglier version of the Raijin!
What gives with all the ridiculous eyesores they're making now? The game looks like a fricking carnival. It was one thing when the mechs were drab-colored and optional skins could offer a splash of color, but now...the Hellburner is the ugliest mech I've ever seen. And these new ones just keep getting more alien-esque.
As far as the actual mechs, healing mechs are long overdue. So long, in fact, that I'm not terribly sure they're relevant any longer. I'd love to be optimistic, but...skepticism will remain until optimism is justified.
