Ok something that has bugged the ABSOLUTE DEATH out of me: is that clutch moment between waiting on your weapons to reload and certain death, is seeing your missiles *poof* out of existence once you die. It's even more agonsing when you KNOW those same missiles cheated you out of a kill!
Nothing says sweet death like killing the very person who killed you than a delayed shot :/
~
Maybe for what ever reason the missiles are still there and you don't see the animation, but there's been way, too many times I've been cheated clutch kills to believe that.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I unloaded all my rockets, and when I die, suddenly those rockets just disappear instead of hitting the target and dealing potential damage.

Didn't always be this way, one of Pixs craptacular updates made this change. You wouldn't get credit for the damage or the kill, but at least your fired ordinance didn't disappear.

Or if you both kill each other off, the last one to die shows "Destroyed" instead of you getting credit for the kill. Just b/c I die a split second faster, doesn't mean I didn't kill the guy... Grinds my gears.
EDIT: with splash damage, especially, there is a delay in damage calculation. It takes the health bar a second to catch up... I think this is one part of it.

tricky, it was def an update that changed it. Just like now the enemy bot would say destroyed, but at least those last fired rounds you died to deliver wouldn't disappear in thin air. I get more annoyed with the realism aspect of disappearing ordinance, and the enemy still being alive able to cap beacons. But like you said, there's also satisfaction knowing you took the red down with you, even if the system doesn't recognize it, you and him know

It is cool when you both die, but yup, when you die, and your ordnance disappears just aint cool.
