They say it's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in them. With all this negativity about tanking and throwing fights. What's the lowest health you've had on a bot that made a meaningful contribution?? Last game my Gary had '903' HP but shield. Managed to entertain the Reds for 4o odd seconds on Dead City. In end drawing a couple of players (Carnage Zeus and Stalker Aphid) to the far left (gagging for the 'easy' kill) whilst my comrades took beacon control. Same game my Patton Aphid got down to '242' HP but managed to last long enough to take out a couple bots trying to storm Center beacon and we won 40 secs latter.

Several times I've had a bot that had under a thousand health, and gotten multiple kills with it after the health got that low.
It helps if you get overlooked during a big push.
Finishing off badly damaged enemies that still have guns is surprisingly important.

I was up against a pilot last night that was extraordinarily resilient to dying. Had a sliver of health in his Stalker, and managed to avoid not one, but two full double-salvos off the Hydra Doc, once through cloaking and then through wall-hugging. There was one other Blue nearby that couldn't get the job done either. The Stalker finally did take that last hit, but the piloting level was exceptional. Way to use a Stalker for just the sort of attention-stealing annoyance the bot is built to do.

less of 500 on a DB Griffin with an Orkan and a Pinata left. It acted as a magnet for every aphid and rocket salvo of the red team for 30 seconds or so in dead city while behind cover and even managed to kill a Galahad in the process. Finally felled by a **** trident.
Down sde, we won the game but I didn't get any gold for it.

I gotta say, when I rock my patton with a red button I often find myself mopping up with health in the 3 digit range. It helps that I usually just rush for red spawn, and by the time my health gets that low I'm behind the mob and they just forget about me.
That's when you run up and gank 'em. (:

I find there are certain robots that can still deal full damage (have all weapons on pylons) even on a sliver of health...not sure that this is right..I know the Griff does not get that special luxury.
And the lesson is in this thread? Finish your opponent...

My absolute lowest that i got to where I actually got a kill at was 17 (yes, you heard me right) health. However, my lowest effective rage moment was a 117 health where i got two or three before the other team finally got into their right mind and killed me.

I managed to get 2 kills and a beacon with 1 (one) hp remaining.
After getting over the surprise of not dying and still having full movement and weapons I set off on an all or nothing runaround. First target was a damaged bot that was fixated on another target and stumbled right across my path. I was then surprised to find myself with a clear run to a beacon, and even more surprised when a red bot failed to wipe me out but instead walked past the gap in the wall. I simply came out behind and blasted him too. ...then someone sneezed and it was respawn time.
Next lowest I recall is ~75hp but that was very much luck with me being quicker on the trigger and firing a full Death Button at in a head to head where both of us died.

And the lesson is in this thread? Finish your opponent... Just been reminder of that lesson. In process of taking out a Stalker with Lancile Orkan, at last second switched focus to another Lancile leaving it with a sliver of life....the Stalker came around the back and shafted me!! Lesson learnt.

Even if I lose my legs and a weapon I enjoy hobbling around and delivering an extra dose of medicine. You'd be surprised how long these Fujins, Anciles, and little Gareth continue to dish out with only a sliver of health.

I had like 96hp left on a Boa, no Thunder or Taran. Capped a beacon, then there was a bright light, and the rest was silence!

And the lesson is in this thread? Finish your opponent... True, but also don't chase a near dead bot into enemy crossfire. When I am near dead and being targeted I try and lure the Reds into a gauntlet of death (aka Blue support), it's pretty effective. *edit* my lowest health was 2 (bad legs/no shield/all weapons) and I managed to corner shoot kill a Red with a right handed death slap from my DB Galahad. Then a noricum took me out.

Lesson learnt. 「fluffernutter」 stalkers. They are the worst pest you can have when you're running a super heavy bot like lancelot or rhino. They just seem to dodge every damn rocket I fire at them, even when I'm leading the target.

What bot were you in? One time, my friend's friend ended up with zero health. It glitched the game because it counted him dead in the fact that he couldn't take any more damage, but he could still attack and move and everything. I'd say that's more than effective.

Step aside, newbies, I've got the record for the lowest HP MVP bot. Pics or it didn't happen, of course. LVL 11/11/11 Raijin, max HP of 233,000. For scale I had .0000258% of my max HP. Scoreboard for that match: Other notable near death encounters:

I escaped with a 1 one time but also no pic... last night though had a really fun fight that was finally matched up pretty well. It was the type of fun that drew many to this game I'm sure and personally, it was such a blast and so much fun I actually took pics at the end in respect/tribute whatever. After it was all done, I was a smoldering mess with 10 HP but that apparently was only because I had 10 more than whoever was left... I hung in brick after brick until one of us died, I believe it was a Leo, then a Griffin, then the Tasha seen in the pic... I busted all three with nearly nothing to spare and with respect to something I just read here.. somewhere.. I don't ditch and it's because ditching often costs more than it saves, for the team. For you, ditching probably works better but you screw your team... Anyways, wrong thread for that... as it turned out, I was almost exhausted and just stood there watching the game end. Stood there long enough to grab some pics thankfully for this thread and yeah, it was a little bit of a War Robots moment lol.
