I had to Google Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. I grew up reading Harry Potter. My 18yr old daughter is a Harry Potter fanatic. I'm old as dirt. Harry Potter is a pretty cool series though. I grew up on Tom Sawyer, Tolkein, Melville, Jack London.. Different times dude

It's an overcast, dreary day here in Kentucky. I just finished my weekly column for Gathering Magic. I'm due for another post on Gepard Diary, about my struggles with the Ancilot, but am about done with sitting on my duff for now. I'm either going to go clean house, or practice bass. Probably both. My wife and oldest son have discovered a game called My Singing Monsters. I googled some of the songs. This one's pretty fantastic. I'll also be hugging my daughters, and chasing my youngest son around for awhile. If I'm lucky, there will be a little bourbon with the wife this evening, and a round of either T.I.M.E. Stories or Pandemic Legacy. As Ernest Hemingway wrote, the world is a fine place, and worth the fighting for.

And damn sure worth the fightin for brotha.

Granted, I was never a huge fan of Twain's books; I was more of a Tolkein, Rice, Poe reader. Gonna go make sure my AARP membership is up to date.
