I've tried Memu 2.92 and 2.66. 2.66 seems more stable, but I'm still having a glitch with fire button getting stuck more than often. Any suggestion to solve this problem?\ Also WASD sometimes ceases to respond and I have to use arrows... As for other platforms - did anyone try to use Android Smart TV box (e.g. S905 processor)? It has all the needed usb ports and in general supports the mouse. What about key mapping for ability and individual weapons? Cheers! Rightclick twice to fix weapons lock. For mouse binding, bind it to a specific key of your keyboard and then bind that key onto memu.

I do the 2x RMB thing, but it's not exactly practical, as I get the stuck fire mode every 2nd...3rd salvo. Keys in PC I have already mapped in a similar way that you say. Question was to android-based TV box (which I'm about to buy anyway), if there is a way to use the PC/USB gaming mouse I have with all it's extra buttons...

K A Z. the first thing I would do is to check if your virtual memory is setup up correctly is to follow this link leomoon.com/projects/desktop-apps/leomoon-cpu-v/and download go to folder, right click, run as administrator, the software package will check to see if your virtual memory is correct. If your you have 2 green check marks you are ready to go. If not use the instructions in the Memu doc to setup. I just used the Windows virtual memory setup.

Try moving the targeting reticule in the map layout somewhere else, that might help.

Sometimes, not often any more, I would move my mouse off the screen of War Robots, when this happens, I get no input from it, and strange things happen. I now make a conscious decision to also see where my mouse pointer is, and will reposition pointer If needed,so this doesn't happen.

Your mouse pointer shouldn't be showing up.

Strayed the way I set mine up with joy2key, I still have a pointer for my mouse. I'm more comfortable with that after so many years of playing PC games. Don't use the lock on target option either, not comfortable with that.

How closely does yours match this? Also, the reticle activates when you right click, you're doing that right?

Strayed No mine is very simplistic, and when I right click the recticle does not show up.
I never had to do anything as far as mouse setup, Memu just knew what to do. I have nothing in the j2k profile I associated with War Robots setup for the mouse. I right-click once activate weapons, left-click fires, right-click again to deactivate weapons. Movement of mouse, moves the upper portion of torso, which allows me to be on target and helps with directional movement.
The game will automatically put the red square on my target, even if it hasn't yet, what I am shooting at takes damage until the game does lock on to what I am shooting at. This solves my problem of 2 bots together, one behind the other, or just slightly off to either side.
The only things I use the joystick part for is to control movement of lower torso and I programmed button 4 (N) on screen shot to jump, charge, raise and lower shields, depending on bot. Since this is in a constant position. I use both hands playing this way to simulate my experience in iOS, Joy left, mouse right.
I am left handed, so I had to adapt to using a mouse when they first came out. Neither PC nor mouse existed when I started in IT (EDP). War Robots is the only game I play using Memu. Others on this laptop are PC based.

Ah, I know what your problem is now. You have to use the second button on the right side of the screen, the one that resembles an fps reticle. When you use that and right click, you will be able to play the game like a normal pc tps or fps.

Right. And with 8 months of practice, I don't wander off the screen anymore. Probably a odd way to do it, but I am odd.

AS for having things covered - I've changed nothing; this is the config where I was getting my guns repeatedly stuck. Well...I'll give it another try Cheers!

K A Z I went back and checked my virtual memory drives I used the following settings: c drive 200 min 200 max. For the drive I mapped for a virtual memory drive z I used 4096mb and 8192mb. Maybe just play with your settings to get better results. I know I spent a couple of hours to get the best settings for mine. Boring, many reboots, but it did help. Mine is running smoothly now and when I record through google it is not nearly as herky jerky as before. One thing I do know from setting these up when we were looking to enhance PC's for certain tasks at work. Especially data collection PC's for Just in Time mfg processes was that you can make a virtual drive too large and it will hurt the performance of the PC overall. There is a sweet spot, unfortunately it seems to be different on every PC. Also I made a dedicated user just for War Robots. No printing software, nothing extra. Other than virus and backup software running. I do do some hesitancy when either the virus software updates, or our blessed windows does updates.

Atm I see no explicit issues with hardware. I'll give it another run soon to check if the problem persists. Maybe a separate user could be an option....

Hi all. My main Question. Is there anyway to make this work on my touchscreen laptop? I configured everything to work with the Xbox1 controller with my micro usb cable. Same issues with the mouse leaving the screen limits and sometimes all controls go wonky for a bit.
The laptop is an acer Aspire v5 It can play all kinds of multi touch games from the windows store. However with the emulator I am getting confused in game movements. Sometimes I can control with 2 hands other times,I need to take my one hand off and do single touches for firing. over all I have played with windows pen and touch commands and nothing works.
I think I am limited to using the mouse and keyboard as the most functional solution. My best guess, because we are using a Virtualized system we are limited with the Multi touch simulation. Because in most cases, virtual devices are controlled with a mouse and keyboard, some keyboard shortcuts have been implemented to help simulate common gestures. But that is all. Strange? Yes. Weird? Yes. I would have figured with all current laptops having the ability to be touch screen........ This would be an easy simple built in feature.

I play on my phone and sometimes find making small adjustments in aim quite difficult on the small screen, so I used screen mirroring to throw it onto the TV. Big screen with surround sound was fun - kids enjoyed it too - but I found I was having to look down at the phone to adjust my finger placement too often. Could probably get used to it if I persevered, but I gave up in the end and went back to squinting at the phone.

Well, not exactly a PC but it does have 23.something inch screen. I play on a Fuhu Nabi Big Tab 24 HD but I strongly discourage this route as the software is ancient, buggy, and unsupported but it does have a nice screen. It doesn't have a USB host type connector by default so I had to make my own. To map the mouse and keyboard I use GKM Touch which is also pretty terrible software but does the job. I couldn't get Tincore Mapper to work right away but it might be better in the long run if you can puzzle it out. I like to play light bots and I can't do the magic with my thumbs that I can with mouse/keyboard as I started playing FPSs with Doom. All said and done I'm pretty happy with this rig for playing War Robots. It does suffer from dropped movement input (your strafing left and then it just stops) but it does that on the tablet itself so a bug in War Robots.

In case anyone is tempted to install the latest Memu 2.9.3 released Jan 25 2017, you might want to keep the previous version of the installer handy should you find the latest version not to your liking. They claim to have fixed the white screen / unresponsive control issue but WASD froze up on me several times. FYI the installer files all have the same names, the version number is in file properties.

Is War Robots capped at 30 fps? Using GLtools to display fps. Also the controls are messed up sometimes like duckdecoy says. Still easier to play on tablet at least for me.

Tried to use gamepad (Logitech P65) with joy2key (5.2.1) + MEmu (2.6.6) yesterday, but it didn't work so I'm doing something wrong:
- gamepad works in Windows, in X mode (tried both Windows game both text editor with joy2key) - gamepad is mapped to mouse + keyboard - I keep joy2key running while starting MEmu - the keyboard + mouse works for War Robots - the gamepad does nothing in MEmu, neither in War Robots nor text writing (tried web browser)
Any idea what might be wrong? Do I need to do something else in joy2key? Do I need to reinstall MEmu after installing joy2key?

Anyone have a secret that they want to share?

I have a Chromecast I occasionally use for this, but sometimes I get fed up with having to look down at my phone every minute or so. I might try to really get used to it though, 'cause it's pretty on a 42" screen.

Btw, great fan of Memu myself, playing on the phone i was losing my sight, now i'm enjoying a 27" screen play
