I've been thinking about replacing my destrier with a better long ranged bot and weapons but I just can't decide on what to upgrade and here are the bots/ weapons for long range that I have and am considering to upgrade until I get a fury or something better
Bots -Raijin -Fujin -Leo -Natasha -Griffin
Weapons -Zeus -Trebuchet -Hydra -Trident -Tempest -Tulumbus

You rocked your Destrier all the way to Master League?
Much respect!

Keep the Destrier in! He makes a great long range sniper, just throw some Arbalests on him!

For example, a Tempest Raijin or Natasha can be a great stand-in until you get that Fury. Alternately, an RDB Griffin is half-decent and the Tulumbas may be useful later on.

As for the bot I'm not gonna upgrade it at all, just the medium and heavy weapons on it, I tried RDB griffin for a while but in Masters you get shot down whenever you jump
also the destrier was meant to be a joke I don't actually run it, sorry to disapoint

you know what I'm going to upgrade my trebuchets for a butch whenever I get one since I just like it so much, always wanted a butch and the trebs are best suited for him

I would get a 3rd Scourge and run that on the Bulg. As for LR, I haven't really done LR in Masters yet for normal modes. The Zeus/Gekko Nat took me a long way through Expert and Diamond. I'm currently running a Zeus/Ion Lancelot and it does ok. It's basically got firepower somewhere between Zarnage and Zury but with a physical shield.

Please keep that Destrier with the starter weapons! For SCIENCE!!!!
EDIT:
On a more serious note, I ran a Tempest Raijin well into Masters' League and it was a solid bot. I liked the fact that its huge health pool and Bastion shields and firepower boost meant it could brawl with Tarancilots. Using it aggressively helped me avoid the typical midrange bot hang-back-and-don't-help-capture-beacons syndrome which afflicts so many pilots.

Kind of figured it was a joke. That's why I recommended the Arbalests, because then you would have a long range setup AND keep the Destrier in! But I actually made a promise that I would keep my first Destrier in my hangar until I got a Shocktrain, which I now have. People really underestimate their first-ever bot.

So I decided to upgrade my trebs in preparation of a Butch but will only work on two for now, so what should I slap these two trebs on? A natasha or Raijin?

Have seen a few folks rolling with high level Noris on the TrebNatty... flush peeps out with the Noris then hammer with the Trebs once they are in the open. Or pair with Gekkos (Arbalests are a joke. A bad one.) But Raijin is well suited to Trebs... What do you do better? Roam and reposition and actively support the front line? Or find good covering positions and then shield up and become a turret? IMO YMMV

I was going to move this over to "Tips and Advice" since that's where I thought it belonged. Then I saw your Destrier comment and thought, "Troll Humor...definitely belongs in General Discussion." I'm afraid that i take the Destrier out of your line-up, I will be forced to take this thread seriously and move it over. However, i keep the Destrier in your Master's League hanger, I can legitimately keep this where it is.
You are going to keep the Destrier...aren't you??

Treb Butch is popular
Natasha Gekko Treb is my standby, but be ready to focus gekkos in between charged treb shots

Sort of tangential question, but where does the Flux fit in with other long-range options when built on something like a Natasha w/Gekko's or similar options?

The flux can be devastating in the right situations. It's a pretty nasty weapon leveled up. It's good for keeping multiple bots in cover on longer maps. I haven't seen any in Canyon yet, but I really don't want to unless it's a good guy.

I haven't seen any in Canyon yet, but I really don't want to unless it's a good guy. That's basically the application I was looking at; I've been sort of meandering through builds (Diamond FWIW) and wound up with a bunch of close-range oriented builds which for some maps is excellent but Canyon among others when I'm facing a bunch of mid/long range opponents with limited cover, it's a frustrating match. Sitting on one Treb and nearly one Flux so was thinking of building out the fortunately cheap Nat or the maybe more flexible Leo and giving it a try... though undoubtedly Treb would likely be better in a cluttered map which with only one hangar, might be the better way to go (I play virtually all random). Appreciate the response!
