To get ready for the coming conversion to WS 2.0, I wanted to compile a list of the equipment that is currently acceptable in the 6/6 leagues. Please feel free to correct any mistakes or omissions I may have made.
Bots:

What does this have to do with preparing for WS2.0.?

Exactly, and 6 pack league is no components bot or weapons, after 2.0 everything will be components so this thread is useful.

Why the notation after Schutze ? You can't buy them anymore, so the only way to play with one is if you purchased one before they were "discontinued". It's more for nostalgia's sake.
I may break mine out for the next fun night.

When did they get rid of schutze I bought one like a month or two back.. why would they get rid of a bot? that's one of the first bots I seen that wasn't a des when I started playing a few months ago.. sad  EDIT: Never mind read on wiki some sort of "technical problem" huh? |

Have you ever thought of a league where only silver weapons and bots would be allowed.. maybe call it the junkers league  (Im serious actually) BTW isn't ancile a "gold" item? why isn't that on the list? Im thinking about trying out 6pack I came up with this hanger of mostly stuff I have sitting in inventory already.. just needs leveled, would this hanger be competitive in 6pack? Are you sure noncomponent items will turn component? Not completely, but compiling the list 'just in case' isn't too onerous. Better done before than scrambling after. |

Hmm, if all items do become component items... Will there be any consideration given to allowing some of newer but weaker / balanced items into the mix? I was thinking along the lines of arbalest, certainly not dragoon. I have little preference either way as I’m still building-up my 6-pack hangar with classic gear.

Unfortunately there is too much disagreement over what could be allowed and what not that it’s better to stick to legacy gear. For a thing like 6 pack League, unity is everything, otherwise people lose interest very quickly... |

We should allow Embers on the Schutz, Gusts on the Destrier and Scourges on the Cossack only.

Then you’d have one team who spawns with 6 Ember Schultze, all marching in unison... 6x Embers at Lvl 6 would still be impressive I’d bet. Though in 6-pack I’m sure the other side would quickly adapt and spawn with builds to out range and destroy the threat fairly early. Would be fun to see that or 6 hopping-everywhere Scourge Cossacks (but only as an off-shoot to 6 pack, nothing should upset the fine balance it has right now). Edit: Typo. |
