Didn't watch the video but no.. griff ain't dead, quiz has replaced it in a lot of incidents but the griff is cheap and as of Diamond 3 It is still the most common bot on the field at any gien time I might see 3 or 4 and in a veriety of configs as well.
I've never really loved the griff but it is a cheap work horse.. and it's versatile and within everyone's budget.
I don't know what the situation is up higher in the ladder but I think it will remain a staple in the lower league for a long time to come.
