I'm new here and I've been playing the game for about 4 months, got to gold league II last night but I'm trying to come up with a good hanger that can last longer then 3 mins in battle. I keep hearing people say how great the Rhino is and right now I have 9500 WSP.  |

Forget about Rhino, he's a transition bot that will only cost you Ag in the long run.
Good:
1. Griff w/plasma
2. Carnage w/shotguns
3. Leo
Bad:
!. Leo's build, ditch those aphids and replace them either with magnums, punishers, or gusts
2. Patton, with anything, is a very limited build, league-wise
3. Fujin - another transition bot that has a pretty low ceiling

Dont get a Rhino.. hes dies to fast to rockets.
I would replace the Patton with a Griff...
DB(Death Button) Griff with orkans and pinata (ambush bot at 300m ignores physical shilds)
Orkans will serve you well for a long time...
Or
RDB (Russian Death Button) tulumbas/pin griff (high splash radius)
if your low on Gold or prefer the mid ranged gameplay in 355-500m
The burst dmg / hit and run tactics make both builds very deadly even in higher leagues... specialy if you learn to pre aim and shoot around corners with your rockets splash... use the jump very defesiv
to escape and reloade
you can place thous weapons on other bots later on as well
You could put the punishers from your patton on your leo...works much better with a thunder specialy if your close(0-150m) and think about Orkan /Aphid Griff as well... its situational cause small/fast bots can dodge aphids very easy, but still a valid choice
One long range support bot is enugh in my opinion ...learn to stay alive with it and out range your enemys... dont use it to early and too long because dpm is too low

Thanks for the pointers.
I like the Fujin but I need to get bots that will do better at anything. I have a Raijin and one Dragoon, trebuchet. I like the treb but I'm more a short-mid range pilot so it doesn't see much action.
I have at least 1-2 more mags and Taran that's not put on bots now.
I have enough gold for 2 orkans so that would be my next big buy.

The Raijin is a good bot to consider, though many people don't say so. Definitely use rockets/plasma for death buttons, maybe kinetic weapons. Also do change that patton, but I think others are ok for now.

yeah I had a Raijin and sold it then by luck I got another one. I've held on to it but not sure what I should put on it.
1 Trebuchet, enough to get a second. 1 dragoon and two Zeus that I got with the Carnage.

Hello and welcome!
Ok here's my advice...
there is nothing wrong with 3 minute matches. Don't focus on wins, focus on farming resources. 3 minute matches will farm you a LOT of ads you can use to spin bronze chests. In those chests you can win griffins, Orkans and Stalkers. All of which would be useful to you.
The stalker is only useful early on, but would put you in contention to start getting beacon gold and earning honour points (you get more points for beacons than anything else). Griffins should be your mainstay bot until you can get something better later on.
You should use your WSP for another set of Tarans and mags and run 2 PDB Griffins. Concentrate on levelling your tarans and ignore everything else except to get bots to 8 for some speed.
Through the bronze chests you will earn tokens, you will also earn them through battle rewards. SAVE them. Read on the forums how best to use them and, in time, you'll be able to get a premium bot in your hangar.
Eventually you'll end up with a set of orkans through Bronze chests, put them on a griffin and level them up with your tarans.
A set of Tulumbas and pins would also not go astray on a griffin.
You'll also get a lot of gold through Bronze chests, SAVE it for your 5th slot.
If you follow this plan you'll end up with - Stalker - 2 Plasma Griffins(Called a PDB Griffin, tarans and mags) -Rocket Griffin(Called a DB griffin - orkans and pinata) - Midrange rocket Griffin (Called an RDB griffin, pins and Tulums) which is a rock solid gold / diamond hangar and you'll be well on your way to getting some premium bots.

With its mobility you can go an stay in possition very quick. A support Rajin is too slow in my opinion and easy pray for any Rocket build (..may work OKish with Dragoon/ Tempest or Flux) ...I would not recomend going for Trebs. Trebs are only usefull in groups of 3+ on a butch or Fury ...honestly not worth upgrading anymore if your not a very big fan of camping thouse setups cost crazy amounts of silver and gold A hangar with 4 mixed PDBs/DBs/RDBs and 1 cap bot (like stalker/Gary/Gepard... you may win one in a bronze chest and replace them with a Kumiho /Strider /Pursuer some day) this will bring you up some leagues and should be fast/fun to play while giving you a solid chance to earn 10 gold per win with most beacons and most dmg(high Dmg = high silver) Or mix 1 long range like dragoon/Zeus carnage, 3 death Buttons < 350m, 1 cap bot if you like to play in a squad and wana make sure you dont mech out too fast. focus on lvling Orkans and Tarans to lvl11-12 this weapons will earn you some silver... and bring your bots only around lvl9 for max speed im playing in Champions league and i replaced all my ranged bots some month ago with 0-500m builds cause i like the higher Damage output and faster gameplay |

I would move the punishers over to leo, or better yet piñatas, the Molot’s I would fill out the Patton with, the fujin needs orkans not Molot’s cuz ur gonna get pegged by snipers too much unless you’re quick and keep it under 700m (300m-700m Molot>Punisher) and in cover protected from them. Fujin hates trebs and it’s shield is it’s biggest ally. The Patton with Molot’s is actually quite close to a tempest fury if you look at dps (not looking at the exact numbers, I just know how it goes) so running it won’t net you much lower silver than a fury; plus the speed of Patton is better than fury. Then the carnage really needs dragoon>zeus>or tridents. That’ll get you set on weapons for top tier and help you last a while. |

Not much you can do with raijin unless it’s full leveled. Low levels should have higher range. |

I got two Orks and made the PDB and DB grifs...wow, well worth the gold. I won a second leo so I'm wonder what, if anything, I can do with that bot?
Thanks again for all the pointers, seems to be working so far and should get better as I upgrade the weapons.

I never upgraded a leo once  Its nice workhorse eary cause it comes on lvl6... but i always preferd to upgrade some orks or tarans or faster bots at the early days i run an 5 griff hangar for some time and saved for my lance and now they sit in my storage (my lance as well  )... Aphid / Ancil leo is a soild build if you use it wisely... but too much fast bots and ancils in the current meta i only lvled my griffins to 9 and focused on ork and tarans to 12 Befor u finish your Orkans you will have dash or decend bot ... or bring something more fun like a rogatka / Galarhad / doc to lvl 9 in between if you win one on a spin A tip just in case you wana speed upgrade... only use au to upgrade very long upgrades like 11-12 The au/time efficency gets better as longer the upgrade takes At 4-5+ days you pay around 5-6 au per hr |

Lots of good tips here already. IMO, don't focus on any of the legacy bots right now. Focus on the weapons that will last you. Orkans are best, Tarans are good despite the bug, Magnums are good too, but you don't need many of them, and you can usually get them for free on the spins and events. Focus on trying to get the premium bots. Everyone here will have their faves. Mine is the Spectre. The dash bots are good. When they first came out, Haechis ruled. But now the opinions are switching to the Bulgasaris due to their shield and the Scourge. Kumihos are the most fun dash bot, and one with a pair of leveled up Shocktrains can drive people more crazy than Hydras.

It's not that Raijin is a good bot to consider,I think you're just biased towards the Raijin…Seriously,Raijin is just a walking bag of silver.I kill them all the time. |

I wasted time and resources in my gold and diamond days on Rhyno, Rajin, hover, carnage, etc when I should have worked on meta bots. I realize some guys are really good with them (I really liked Stalker). My hover is still useful sometimes, but it’s getting replaced by Haechi ASAP. My advice is buy WSP up to 200 or so each day, pick a bot and buy those comps.
