hey there, i've made an account especially for you guys!

i'm a 23 belgian boy playing on android, currently in expert 1 (5 points short from master 3) and still looking for a good, kind and kind of crazy clan
the 200+ activity should be no problem (i'm now at 377 and in the middle of my exams)
i have a very decent hangar with five slots, only need to level it up a bit (bots are mostly 9, weapons 9-10)

the only thing is that i'm not a native english speaker, would that be a problem? (my english is good enough to understand 99% of the things i need to, but my sentence structure will be slightly weird at some times)

the 23 is no problem, studying at the vspw gent for something that is basically a kindergarten teacher (you kan look it up, it's called 'begeleider in de kinderopvang'), vspw is an adult education center (are exams only for highschool and does it have another name when in university?)

It really depends on what your end goal is to be honest; the age old fun vs meta debate. All of the below is based on the assumption that you want to go all the way. If you want to play for fun and stay at a particular level you enjoy please feel free to disregard any or all of it.

If you want to progress to expert, masters or even champs one day you need to get yourself some component gear to be truly competitive.

OR just keep levelling up the gear you have. With high enough levels (esp weapons) you can get really high up, but you'll find the haechis and bulgasaris of this world become more and more troublesome for you. Once you get to mk2 lvl 12 your advantage in upgraded equipment disappears and the component bots will stomp you.

Re your current hangar:

The lance will take you to expert pretty reliably but from then on will start to creak. I replaced my ancile with a dragoon and still use it in E2, when i get a second scourge will replace the tarans and thats about the best mileage you can get out a lance these days.

The rog isnt really viable past diamond - too squishy. Unless you upgrade the hell out of it as per above. Orkans are always viable though so keep levelling them too.

Leadhose griff is good against all shields and will keep chugging away into expert 3, where it too will show its age as you have to expose a comparatively fragile bot for too long to use it. STs, dragoon and scourge users will be the bane of this bot's life. A mid range griff build with more long term use is the RDB. I still use one of these. Umleash your rockets then dive for cover.

PDB griff will serve you well until you can replace with an inquisitor or spectre. Same mechanic they're just both much better at it.

Poor old Rhino will not make it past diamond. Dash bots eat them alive. Replace with an orkan haechi when you can and you will see the difference.

For your waiting in the wings stuff, the DB griff will lose out to orkan haechi too, good in meantime though. Plasma gary has already reached its peak in gold, leave it behind. Galahad with plasma is a good anti ancilot bot for diamond, treb gecko leo is not much good. For a real long range punch with the treb you need 3 on a fury. Aphid stalker fun but not enough power to get you into diamond - get 2 more and use a patton instead, or better yet 2 vortexes and put them on a griff. Carnage is best as a long/ranger these days; your zeus/dragoon idea is ita best use.

I hope this helps. In summary - your hangar is a lot of fun but you need a bit more punch to keep climbing. Components are a must - kumiho, haechi, scourge and dragoon are some of the best choices for first component builds if you can get them.

I am getting close to a dragoon, which I thought of pairing with a Zeus on the carnage or a Natasha for midrange...

Most cp for a bot is inquisitor... the dash gods have hated me and I'm gonna wait for that luck to change, lol.

Scourge look like a must to me too, though they'll be long in coming. Early target would be a scourge/spark galahad.

Current plan is to push all active hangar weapons to 8, then toward 9 as bots go up to 8... And hope and work for gear.

And yeah, I know my rog is a relic. But it is Hellas fun getting a triplekill with it every now and then..

I expect to rise slowly, and more slowly.

I expect that by the time I get the orks and tarans to 9 I'll have the time to focus on a new bot if I'm lucky.

The Inquisitor is what I am closest to... but I am hoping for dash stuff some day.

The full version - The Honey Badgers clan have been ripping faces off for a while now and I am pleased to report we are going from strength to strength at the moment!

No longer are we content with being simply the most ferocious, fearless, aggressively insane group of miscreants the world wide web has ever seen. No. We have genuine credentials to back up my outrageous boasting.

More and more of our group are reaching masters and champions league, our 6 pack team is really getting traction with a recent big win and our discord server is growing with the folks from Nova Rising and other groups dropping in to squad with us, practice against us or just hang out with us.

We'd like to take this opportunity to invite the good folks of this forum to join us.

We currently have 14 slots available, so single players or whole (smaller) groups can join.

We also have 1 slot available on our 6pack team, and we have a "working on champion squad" for those that are building towards elite play.

Also diamond and expert players are encouraged to join; poor ol' Stapleton is getting a little lonely down here in E2/3!

Hows the league yo-yoing going? You finding it starting to smoothe out yet?

The inquisitor takes practice to perfect, using cover and short bursts of stealth to your advantage. It is ultimately a better brawler than long ranger, but if you're going down that route scourge and dragoon would definitely be my bet.

I use 2x taran amd an ember on mine, and it is a strong bot. Fragile if caught in the open, but can be devastating too. I usually either get 2-4 kills with it or die quickly to unforeseen rockets.

Orkan and thunder more reliably kills unshielded bots, but I like the versatility of plasma.

If you're getting a dragoon and 2 scourges, perhaps a lance would be a better platform. You can really kick 「bum-bum」 at all sorts of ranges and have great survivability as long as you keep away from those pesky orkan haechis!

If you want a good long ranger then yes, a tempest/gecko leo will do you well in gold/early diamond. The higher up you go though, the more people stay in cover so the short burst high damage options like zeus and (again) dragoon would be a better long term bet.

Zeus Dragoon Carnage will kick 「bum-bum」 yes, zeus-zeus-dragoon fury or double dragoon carnage will kick 「bum-bum」 even more if you can get hold of them!
