Are you a Star Wars fan? If so, what is your fondest Star Wars memory?
It was the summer of '77. My father had a Chevy Blazer with the removable hardtop. Perfect for cruising under the hot summer sun. This was my first trip to the drive-in theater. It was a double feature. First was Stephen Spielberg's Silver Bullet followed by Star Wars (later A New Hope). There couldn't have been a better backdrop. The sky was black as ink, but filled with stars which blended into the background of the movie. It seemed as if the movie itself filled the night sky. That year Star Wars captured the imaginations of thousands of children, I among them. After the show, we drove to the A&W Root Beer stand for ice cream. I just couldn't stop staring into the sky.

First time I watched the original Star Wars was on my old black and white television!
