Molots recently got buffed, and I'm seeing a lot of them at the moment. My question is: can they hang with the big dogs at the higher levels?
Once bots reach the 10-12 range, there are fewer effective options. Is the Molot Griffin an option at that level now? I've got one in my back hangar that needs to be upgraded, but I don't want to spend the money and time if it won't be with me all the way up. Thoughts?

I have heard some are using this set up for the Fury's and other 2 shot camper bots...freaks them out to be hit, they high tail it at 2km per hour for cover.
I got one in my back hanger too for the same reasons...lol. I guess it depends on how angry I get at the Campers.

No, the Molot Griffin can't hang in top MM.
I say this because I don't see them. You don't see them primarily because other setups are better at the 800m to 1000m range.
I mean, you'd only use the Molot Griffin to fight mid-range Furies, right?
If that is so, then at the 620 to 800+ meter range, you have better options and they are:
- Dual Nashorn/Dual Molot (or Gekko) Natasha. - Quad Molot Doc - Tri Nashorn Fury - Molot Rhino (at least you can motor anywhere quicker and use the shield while reloading) - Molot Fujin - you can forget a TT Fury getting past that Ancile even at under 600m range
All the above choices have either better survivability, better mobility, or more firepower at extreme range.

I think you don't see them because people are snobs. Molots are beastly. Leveling mine more is high priority. And watching adriannnnnn videos, I'd say it hangs pretty well.

There is no cover up on the traditional Molot firing positions that a Griffin can get to. If you use Molots, you need to be next to structure to limit your exposure to other LOS weapons and especially missiles (high ground is like being in the open against missiles). The jump ability isn't a better asset than an Ancile shield or better accuracy (i.e. Nashorns) for the purpose of dealing with Trident Furies at over 600m.
