Hi! Name’s AngelFin, and I just joined minutes ago. I’m still quite new to War Robots, and I’ve been trying to get the hang of it. Although I’m not really so great with my current progress, but I’ll share you what I have!

you ll get to know about ingame things in a couple weeks
and as usuall i'll suggest you to get some better equipment for your hanger like:
use a punisher griffin(full,good for both short and long range)
use a long range tulumbus pins griffin known as RDB(russian death button)
use a light bot a strong one like a stalker or a gareth,read their descriptions and you ll get to know how to use their abilities
use a leo or a natasha and put thunder punishers or save workshop points to buy 2 tarans and 2 magnums for another griffin (when you get to lvl 20 it will unlock)
get your 5th slot first before spending high amounts of gold then buy a griffin and put orkans pinatas
note:
1-Upgrade weapons before robots because all the damage is done by weapons and higher the damage,higher the silver earning and other ingame rewards
2-The reason for so many griffins is because griffin is strongest non premium robot and can perform in every condition,short or long range and it will help you for a very long time until you get premium bots(first choice lancelot)

Some advice to help you avoid newbie mistakes:
Do not use Au for anything else until you have 5 slots, with these optional exceptions: a pair of Orkans (2 x 1200 Au), arguably a Gareth (500 Au) for longer term use or Gepard (250 Au) for having a 58 KPH beacon capper on low leagues, possibly and very arguably the daily 5 Au for 60 WSP deals (and stop there) on workshop once you get there (because that is cheap, it might we worth it even though it does add up...). Most importantly, do not waste Au on speeding upgrades.

Hi angelfin.Welcome to the forums! As for your hangar,I'd recommend getting that golem to level ~6 and get equip patton with 4 pinatas.I have a second account on my iPad with two slots(just for fun)with a pinata patton,and an almost DB(orkan pinata) griffin and it rocks!So basically,here's what I would do if I were you in this order: Bring golem,punisher and punisher T to level ~6(weapons first) get pinata patton(and level it up) get leo/natasha(thunder with punishers/pinata) get some tarans save up for fifth slot get some orkans |

I still run a Punisher Griffin (nicknam ‘Leadhose’) in my current hanger (Masters IOS). I also have Tulumbas and Pins (which are low cost) and other load outs (Plasma, rockers, Scourge, Spark etc). It’s a great versatile bot that will serve you well as you rise the leagues and collect tokens, Au, WSP that will allow you to invest in better weapons and bots. My 2c. If I was starting out that’s all I’d buy. A hanger of Griffs, Au on Orkans. |

From the moment I got it I have been put into matches with other players with max hangar and expert league and above(I'm silver1-gold2, have seen many masters). I used to always get matched before with 3-4 hangar slot players and now it's unbearably long to play. Can anyone comment of how this affects MM? Because it was like a switch as soon and I bought it. And have lost 800 league points since, in a matter of days. So me I would buy orkans,and pfffttt speeding weapon upgrades. Oh and a Gareth. Hate me now. |

Welcome
Under the current circumstances I would recommend the following:
• Spend all your gold on acquiring up to 6 orkans and 6 tarans. If you cant afford them get as many as you can. Don’t save your gold. Spend it on the above before anything else as the economy will change soon.
• Spin the bronze chest until the skin rubs off your finger in an attempt to get a gareth. That will be your beacon runner. A stalker and gep will do as well. I managed to get half a doezen gareths, geps, and 2 to 3 goelems and boas in 20 days from the bronze chest.
• Do not upgrade bots with the exception of your beacon runners as they need speed. Not past L9 tho.
• Griffins are awesome bots IMO at lower leagues and maybe a leo (thunder piñata for splash). Forget the rest. Griffins with tarans/magnums or with piñata/orkans are devastating. Beside your beacon runner you could also run a long range griff with molots. Don’t level the bots. Level the hell out orkans and tarans.
• Whats after the above…. By that time you will know much better.

Get a Leo or Natasha and maybe another Griffin. You need some bots that will sustain some damage as well as bots that have some speed.

Get your workshop going.... the three dots connected icon, middle left.
Click on the icon of a box below that and just keep doing open for free videos.... play some... then more open for free videos. You'll get yourself some decent beginner gear that way.
