Ok so this isnt a rage quit or anything.
I just got bored after playing 40-60 games a day on the same 5 maps.
Is it bad that i got burned out after only 4 months whereas others have played tbe game for over a year or 2.
I wont get anymore enjoyment out of playing the game. Leveling gear makes no difference to the enjoyment. You can have same fun with lvl 8 gear as you can with mk2.
The lack of maps and boring game modes coupled with the poor design of half the maps makes each game mostly the same.
Its not like i lose either. 90% of games im top on my team. Im not short on silver or gold andtankers stopped bothering me a while ago.
Here is what would make me come back
*15-20 maps *Not able to see the enemy from the moment the game starts. I feel there should be a hardcore mode where those ridiculous red triangles are not a thing. Tactical gameplay would take over and would make teamwork far more important. Maybe add a spotting mechanic so you can mark a target for 5 seconds so everyone can see them. Like mechwarrior.
This is the ONLY arena style game ive ever played where you can see where the enemy are when the match starts. This has bothered me from day 1.
The small size and linearity of the maps isnt conducive to varied games. Tbe game just isnt fun anymore.
Anyway. Have fun guys.

Goodbye and good luck.
Personally I like the targetting system because it's something different, but can understand that other don't like it much.

I would think the advancements needed to create the giant robots we see would mean they'd be able to detect the other robots. (I'll admit that it doesn't make much sense to not be able to see your teammates.) Although, that being said, I do like how detection works in BoT.

I can understand getting burned out playing 40-60 games a day. I'm just a casual player maxing 10-12 games on a good day. Usually I just play 4-5. I only played 15-20 games a day during events, which I will never do again. That burned me out.
Good luck in your search of fulfilling game play. Bayo con Dios compadre.

yeah, 20 maps will not make this game better, for the record, I hate Dreadnaught because I don't walk around slanted so playing it gives me a headache, but I don't mind having it because it lends variety. Most veteran players are familiar with all the spots and quirks about each map, the game becomes more enjoyable because of that, not just shooting blindly at any reds in range. Yamatau and the new carrier map will be my least favorite because fighting for the center beacon is so boring. Its like King of the Hill in purgatory. There's a lot to complain about with Pix but maps is not one of them.

Even with the new maps out I still constantly get Springfield.... The number of maps is not whats driving me away. the stagnate game play in the upper meta along with all the shocktrains has just made the game either boring when your forced to play TDM, or just no fun when you hit super squad after super squad. Lately, my guys will start off with some War Robots but after a few games of just crap games we get off Discord and swap over to PUBG Mobile and play that for the rest of the night. Im not that good at it yet but at least its fun and refreshing.
