After being grilled by Scourge Spectres, now I am about to have my first Scourge, perhaps by this weekend or early next week by the latest. Yeah, I am slow. The best I won from an event task chain was an Ancile... So, what would you do with a single Scourge, if you don't want to wait until you have two, three, or four? I have a Tri-Taran Bulgasari, my first ever dash bot put into service. How about a Taran-Taran-Scourge Bulgasari? Will it be able to do some damage while using the shield (with the Scourge) and shoot back immediately with Tarans when you lose the target lock? I also have a Storm-Gust Gareth in my larger map-specialized hangar. This is to ambush, annoy, cap, at the beginning or later stage of a large map domination battle. How about a Scourge-Gust Gareth? Will the Scourge do better than a Storm in point blank-ish range? It can certainly annoy some reds from a distance with the single Scourge? What else would you suggest? No, I don't run a Boa nor a Golem in this account. My hangar is in the signature, although I have other bots in reserve (I don't have a Lance). Thanks,

Scourge can match with (light slot) gekko, aphid and magnum. Heavy slot works well with Ancile, Zeus and Thunder. If you are Diamond or Expert you could make a Galahad or Boa work. Galahad Scourge and Gekko x 2 and you have a midranger that can hit pretty hard up close. Galahad Scourge and Aphid amd you have a close range hitter that can still hit midrange. Galahad Scourge and magnum is almost exclusively a knife fighter, but a pretty decent one. I would not mix and match scourge with other mediums. If you are Master or Champion league, I would just wait.

That Gala is possibly a good idea, but so is the TTS Bulga you mentioned...
I have ran that with my leftover Scourge (I have 4 and 3 tend to stay on 1 dash or another if not running them on the Kumi) and it wasn't bad. I put it on the bottom side spot on the Bulga and I put it on the side with a single weapon and left the Tarans on the other side when running on the Haechi and it allowed for good corner shooting variety. I just treated it like another Taran. Most of the kills from that setup was from the Scourge since it will stay on target.

You want mobility w/ Scourges to either maintain range or to get up close after you make them exhaust their Orkans
I'd suggest a Scourge/Taran Kumiho

I met once a red Bulgasari who started grilling me with Scourges. I deployed my shield but for some reason my HP kept leaking - turned out he also had an Orkan. That was awkward...

When I got my first scourge I put it on a Rog, paired with Taran. First I used it as a temporary guiding system to know when to shoot my Taran in close combat situations (I kept my Rog at around 100 - 200 m distance most of time, liked to jump on Lances to bypass their shields) till I leveled it up a little. Meanwhile this gave me all the basics about how to use Scourge.
I suggest this build, because I still use it. Levels are 11 for Rog and 12 for weps, I took it all through high expert and diamond till masters 1 league, even in Champion qualifications it fit well. Both weapons work very well together, the 3 sec lock-on is something I don't even care about, unload/reload speed don't fit exactly, but they are so easy to use together that I don't even know those. Not best damage dealer, but an above average beacon capper, flanker and close combat ambush bot.
Btw, saved Manny once in one of his latest videos with it.

When I had an extra Scourge, I ran it with Taran on a Hover and on a Kumiho. I prefer the Hover as I also have the Magnum on top doing damage. Anything you put it on will only be temporary. Get that second Scourge asap and then run both on a Kumiho.

Galahad equipped with scrouge & 2x gekko are annoying and deadly at 400+m in long maps, however as a brawler Galahad is too squishy as it can be killed easily by missiles.

There is no "meta" bot that has only 1 medium weapon. Replace 1 Taran with that Scourge, and run any build that you would run with Taran. Later with 2 Scourges, Lancelot and Inquisitor are good options.

Scourge goes well with punishers as they both can hit at midrange and deal more damage at close range. Scourge + gecko on Gareth is strong Scourge + magnum/aphid on galahad

Well you might try (if you allready have one) maxed out Golem as: Golem + Spark (small weapon), Scourge (medium weapon), Dragoon (heavy weapon) all are 600m range. + Corner shooting + OK health (170k+ or 205k at maxed out) + 42 speed + Cheap and fast to upgrade (specially if it is old version, I do not recommend to buy one just for trying it now days)
- No "special" effects / shields
It is versatile but sooner or later you WILL replace it but think it bit like Natasha. Cheap to buy and update, even max out (atleast before). Good amount of HP and OK firepower. IF you keep your distance you can do OK damage and even cap. (Sure there are faster, deadlier and so on bots out there.. ..but most of them are not bought using silver and usually take tad longer then 4½ day to update lvl12 from lvl1 [I guess now it will be for new bot like 8 day or so but still)
So use it untill you get 2 / 3 of them and then switch for dash bot or spectre or something like that...

If you also had a couple Sparks I would say run a Galahad scourge/sparks. Otherwise the advice given above works.

One Scourge - my best experience was the above said Galahad. Assisting our Kumihos to get rid of red ones.
Two Scourges - Ancilot is doing a great job now. I mainly need to keep distance from Orkan bots. However, I'm E3 no not much ST Spectres, I've heard that it's a bane for this build.

If you want to keep the rest of your hangar as it is, I'd say Galahad or Gary

Golem + Zeus + Gecko + Scourge. Reds think they got ya when they are up close. But scourges deal big damage at close range and Zeus are good regardless. Golem has good HP too. Lvl 9 Zeus, level 7 golem, level 6 gecko and level 1 Scourge did well.
Golem + Thunder + Pinata + Scourge, Stay hidden and corner shoot. Haha, it’s a Midranger, my Lance should easily crush it. Oh no! It has thunder and Pinata! Served me well on spring map
Scourge Magnum Galahad. Oh, Scourge melts enemies at sub 150m Try and aim for plasma builds to kill.

Thanks, I was successful at Champ with a Griffin with 1 Scourge, 1 Vortex, and 2 Aphids... it was not a dominant bot, but it was an effective bot with an occasional godlike. It has since been replaced with more potent bots but as I was coming up with limited #'s of good weapons that worked for a long time. ymmv
