[OUTDATED] The information is obsolete prior to Update 3.8 the amount of keys required to reach Super Chests would be around the region of 13,000 - 13,500 Keys now (estimate) ====================== First and foremost, Credits to u/Tempest8008 from reddit community for month long research and result. I have here a picture that will help players to gauge their progress towards the Super Chest. It takes 7650 Keys or 765 Bronze chests to reach Super Chest. The progression bar is NON-LINEAR. Across the bar, I have indicated vertical line markers for players to compare with their screen to roughly estimate how much they have done and how many more keys they still need. Each Marker is labelled a Number of Keys. Each marker is aligned to the text above it for players to estimate their own progression. Lastly each marker has a Number of Days labelled. As each Black Market season is 30 days. Always starting at First day of the month till the last day of the month. The marker is to allow players to gauge if they are ON-TIME, to reach 7650 keys by the 30th day.   |

So here is the method one should employ if Super chest is the GOAL.
Use your adverts for the Bronze Chests.
BUT KEEP HOLD OF YOUR KEYS gained from game rewards and Supply Drops.
ONLY OPEN THE 1,000 GOLD CHESTS when you have enough of keys.
Cuz, the 1,000 key Gold Chests has good probability of returning good stuff and if you are in luck, it might return back 1,000 keys to you....lol
Even with just 600Keys as the prize, you only need 400Keys to progress the bar closer to the Super Chest.
In the Gold Chests, there are Keys Prizes ranging from 600 - 4000Keys

On average, every 50 Bronze chests opened, there is about 50-75 keys being given back. On average about 13% keys are given back. |

Unfortunately the fault is "It takes 7650 Keys or 765 Bronze chests to reach Super Chest." . I have still no clue about the mechanics, but current data suggests it is different for different players each month. I can guarantee you, it took me 737 ad-chests for the SuperChest in March (might have been 738, but unlikely and definitely not 765).
Don't get me wrong! I appreciate all this effort by all the folks trying to work this out. I am trying to help only by adding information to the picture here!
As I said, I still have no idea on how it works. Your data + mine suggests there is differences. Maybe between platforms, maybe even for different players on the same platform (a theory would be it is based on how many SuperChests you have opened already, another theory might have it based on player league). It's a mess and possibly by intention.
PS: my current data hints that it might be those 7650 keys for me this month as well, but that's a rough estimate only based on current progress

this is a public revelation on how deceptive pixonic is. Everyone assumes a progress bar is linear. Noobs and players that do not visit the War Robots forums or reddit are being deceived.

The research was done meticulously by someone who spent A LOT of time on it.
There were a lot of numbers floating around before this, ranging from 7300, 7500, 7560.. etc.
Ultimately his two month research was to determine how the bar progresses after certain amount of chests.
Due to his meticulous and thorough effort to do this and share it publicly, I take it that 7650 is the de-facto value to follow.

An old reference on this subject matter done by a player some time back, and SUPPOSEDLY been told by others Pixo has also released a Picture indicating 7600 Keys is the value to reach Super chests. As to when was this released, I have no idea. But 7650 keys was determined in the month of March 2018 by a reddit user Tempest8008.   |

I'll said this is accurate for me, until now i already oppenend 1 gold chest and 125 free ad, which mean approx 2250 keys, and now my progress bar sit in the word "u" of "Kumiho"

I open 7 Gold Chest then all Silver Chest last season, I got my Super Chest after 7 Gold and 7 Silver Chest, so 7601 - 7700 key was required. The OP 7650 keys seems accurate. Between, this is my FBGR account (no ads for bronze chest). So reward log definitely also shows I got 7 gold chest reward and 7 silver chest reward by the time I got my superchest.

After a clan mate's comment, I added more features to the picture to make it easier to use and relevant to my initial intentions of producing it.
It was meant to be informative, also a guide for players and not my intention to berate Pixonic for their skewed/misleading representation of the progress bar. As I have known of the non-linear progression of the bar in the very first week of the Black Market Introduction way back in 2017.
I believe even casual players can reach the super chest in a month.
Daily 5 free adverts ---> 5 Bronze x 30 days =150 bronze Chests a month
Daily ..8 supply drops = 15 keys x 8 = 120 Keys ---> 12 Bronze x 30 days= 360 Bronze chests a month
The above alone, without playing is 510 Bronze chests for a Champions Tier Player. Just need 255 Bronze chests or 2550 Keys in 30 days from playing games.
Couple with the fact that Bronze chests returns back 13% of the prizes in the form of keys.
Thus 510 Bronze = 5100 Keys X 13% = 663 Keys
Meaning on average 663 keys are gained from 510 Bronze chests in a month.
Overall, a player only needs 1587 Keys (2250 Minus 663) a month from playing games and not forgetting the we also get Keys from War Robots Royale.
Again, Every 3 days we get a DUEL - BOT ROYALE Spin, and EVERY 1 DAY we get a DUEL - WEAPON ROYALE Spin.
Basically Every 3 days, we get 8 Royale Spin with the potential of earning around 75 keys in total (estimate)
3 days = 75 Keys from Royale.
30 Days = 750 Keys from Royale.
WOW....
All in all, a player only needs to get 837 Keys (1587 minus 750) from 30 days to reach the SUPER CHEST.
837 Divide by 30 days = 28 Keys a day is required.
That is about 2 games a day. Two games yields 2 Bronze chests, and hopefully 8 keys from the 2 games rewards.
At the end, a casual player completing the d2 daily tasks every day, will easily get to open a Super chests.

I guess there are just all sorts of players with varying aspect of game satisfaction from War Robots. I accept them all, and respect them all for how they wish to play the game for their own satisfaction. After all, the time is theirs, the effort is theirs, the internet fee is theirs, ultimately they decide how they wish to "play" the game.Who am I to tell anyone that they should play the game like how I like it....lol. I tap the "TO BATTLE" as a solo random player.. I am already prepared for all sorts shenanigans from other players in a team game. After all, every one is playing for their own goals and reasons. |

I come to know, that players are getting 10,000 Spectre components from Super Chests last month. that is why if I am going for the Super Chest, I would be thrill with the prizes in KEYS They are actually better off than a Rogatka or a Galahad for me. I remember getting a ton of Anciles and Zeus back in the days when the Super chests was achieved using GOLD/Au instead of Keys. Players with 100k Au at the start, was rolling them at Gold chests and opened up Super chests non-stop when the prizes were returned back in the form Gold rewards. However, for others with not-much of inclination for "GAMBLING", they can opt for the Bronze or Silver Chests that should give out a blanket of various component prizes. Some feel much better getting a lot of prizes. The gold chests, has a higher chance of striking it big.. VERY BIG. The chance of getting a EPIC rated prize in Bronze in almost ZERO, and very slim of getting anything with the "WOW" factor in Silver Chests. |

I wanna thank you for the post, I got my first SC last month and I noticed the closer I got it started slowing down, that last little bit seemed like it hardly moved for a week, Like moving the goal posts or a receding finish line..A true carrot and stick strategy.
I knew it could not be linear, even though everyone expects it to be just like you would expect the "royale" to be equal chance.
I don't think I've ever played a game where the developers are actively trying to deceive the players like this,
Can't help to wonder if the mob runs the game or something it feels so crooked in so many ways they earned a 1 star from me in the store and I'd wave off anyone thinking of installing it.
I did get a haechi out of the chest but it was "work" the game broke the threshold between fun and work towards the end.
They're probably making a small fortune me watching their ad's, good for them cause they won't ever see a dime from me otherwise.

I tested during the last event. I counted every single chest I opened. It took me 7350 keys. It is possible that a 1000 box make the bar fill more than 10 silver chest…

Well- Here's keeping our fingers crossed that Pixonic doesn't change the required amount of keys for superchests considering they're about to practically dump bucketloads of them over our heads. I really hope all this guy's hard and meticulous work doesn't go to waste  That being said, if the cost of superchest doesn't change, that would mean people in Champion league will be able to easily snag superchest effortlessly. And it also means people in Master league like myself will have a huge burden lifted from our shoulders. Now if it weren't for Pixonic's bad rep, I think this os specifically meant to tantilize the high gear tankers to come back up more than before, because whats the point of getting a Kumiho or Inquisitor when you already have a full Shockasari hangar? |

I wonder if you buy keys, will the bar go a wee bit faster? This month, I only bought 200 keys (I won 800 keys on a gold chest and just couldn't resist opening another gold chest). I got the super chest a couple of days ago, so I still had several days to go. My bar is about 1/8 full after a few days of playing.

Just got my 2nd Super! first gave me an ember and second gave me a ST! Now I have 4 ST all I need is a Spectre and I will be hated even more! Altough not for being P2W but for ST overload!!
For once I will be able to stand up against these hangers that have 2or 3 haichi and spectre!
other than paying for it I dont understand how they do it!
I don't believe "I won them in a contest/event" either.
It has taken over a month to get here. It will be worth it!

Makes me think mine doesn't work the same or is broken. I play about 10 rounds a day (more on some days such as weekends) and use every single commercial on a bronze chest afterwards. I also use all 5 of my free ones daily on the bronze chest. I then save up all I get from rounds as rewards and pilot supply drops(gold tier so I get 5 keys per drop, 40 total keys per day) until I hit 100 and spin for the silver. I still have yet to hit enough to get a super chest.
Assuming I do not win a single key back or get any keys from the Royale, I should be hitting 5,700 keys per month based on those figures. I must have bad luck with winning keys back or winning them in Royale. I will try to start saving mine for gold chests instead of silver and see if that gets me there.

Guys, let me try to understand.
Today if you are in Diamond league you will win 24key/3h = 96 key/12h = 192key/day 192*30days = 5760key -> 576 chests
5 chests per day in ads = 30*5= 150chests
Sub total = 726 chests
If the required is 765 chest. You will need only 39 chests more. You can play one match and see the ad and spending few keys you will get 765 bronze chests
Is it right?
