I wanted to ask which bot has highest survivability rate in gold tier (I know it don't exist anymore) where the battle is very intense . As everybody knows when it comes to light bot which are really good at beacon capping even under heavy fire are Gareth and Stalker .Both are very good and does their job perfectly . Both of them has different abilities which allow them to survive . Let's talk about the abilities of these two
Gareth-This bot is given the title of knight of camelot as it acts like a knight . The top speed of Gareth is 64 km which makes it fastest bot in the game which is matched by jesse and second to stalker . It has sheild which allows it to take several hits while protecting it's HP . It's sheild is somewhat acts as a bonus to its HP . Due to its speed and sheild it can run into a heavy fire area to grab the beacon . It's speed when combined with its sheild and with an experienced pilot can take on a bigger bot like Leo and even a rhino . This bot is still very fragile to splash damage and can die very easily when hit with missiles. Though it can outrun the splash radius very easily due to its speed
Stalker-This bot is the fastest bot in the game with 66 km as top speed . It has a special ability which is stealth that allows it to disappear from enemy's radar and preventing the lock on by the enemy for 10 sec. The bot is very small in size with a small hit box . It can sneak up in a heavy fire area and can take beacon easily with enough time to get to cover . Stalker has a reputation of being one of the most annoying bot due to its speed , agility and ability . Though it don't have enough fire power to take down heavy bots like Leo , rhino or griffin . This bot is still fragile and splash as well as plasma is a major threat though it can easily avoid them . It can act as a distraction to help it's teammates .
So what's your opinion which bot comes on top

I would say Gary.
Firepower: i would consider it even since plasma/orkan pinata gary and aphid stalker is equally annoying
Survivability: Gary wins. Splash are archilles heel for both and it means instakill. Gary's shield however is a good way of defending against plasma wepons and even a plasma griffin need time to kill off that annoying shield. Stalker on the other hand has stealth, which can evade the lock on. However, the cool down time is just... too long and if no cover is present plasma weaps can kill him fast. Gary's shield can be put on and off at anytime so it can be a life saver on maps like shenzhen against plasma.
Beacon capping: Both are capable beacon cappers with their speed
Conclusion: Both are very good as a light bot but gary comes out slightly better since its shield is more reliable than stalker's cloak and can be used more often during difficult situations.
I have fought both and trust me, when u see a gary u will be more annoyed than u see a stalker.

I have neither Stalker nor Gareth, but from my perspective the latter one is usually causing more problems (tougher, more firepower, basically equal speed with stalker). Stealth is pretty useless if you have splash weapons, and those are now the game (same goes to gareth, but everyone is well aware of it when driving one). I finished off some stalkers even with plasma weapons when they were in stealth...Yeah, your bot cannot aim, but if you are at the same elevation and aim carefully, you can still place few rounds even despite stealth.

Gareth without a doubt. I easily kill plasma Griffins before they kill me. It way outperforms my gepard and stalker.

Who would have thought so? ? A shocking revelation. I'm quite shocked! But to at least add some usefull information: Surprise attack: stalker > gareth Beacon capping: roughly equal Corner shooting: gareth > stalker Beacon Holding: gareth > stalker Rear line harrassing: roughly equal, depends on the playstyle though Slug it out with heavies: gareth > stalker Personally, I'd take the gareth. I don't play gold Tier, though.

Gareth has better survivability, but it depends on your playstyle and skill. I've seen a few pilots use aphid Stalkers very effectively. I think Stalkers require patience, which I lack, so I bought a Gareth =)

I'd also argue that Stalker can be more annoying 1-on-1 than Gareth. If piloted right, it will only fire in the open when in stealth mode. Without help from teammates you can poledance around whatever cover you have and you'll never get it. Gareth on the other hand will be exposed whenever it fires, making it vulnerable to any kind of splash.
If you run plasma, Gareth wins by a mile. But that's one of the reason why I prefer to open the game with a splash robot, you're more likely to encounter Garys and Stalkers.

Have to admit, stakers are pretty annoying. However, my plasma gareth takes down plasma griffens, leo, and nats all day. Even moll, puns, and orkan bots have a tough go against it. You main threat is rdb, as they can stay out of range and tear you up. After gepards became useless, i find its the best bot 1 on 1 vs stalkers.

Pretty much agree with all that was said here.
One aspect that ultra touched on, Gary is the ultimate anti-light bot, bot... Stalkers won't survive 1v1, even if they have pinatas. Aphids can easily be dodged, and mags... fuggitaboutit. Geps, you need to be a bit more careful, bc of the extra firepower, but I have taken on 2 at once before in the city part of Shen, and with a little careful maneuvering, you can always have one covered with your weapons while either buildings or your shield cover the other. It involved a lot of backing up, but I took them both on and still had my shield after. Only light I fear in a Gary is another Gary.
As far as against everything else, Stalker driven by a good pilot can prolly do just as well as Gary, however, you won't be able to do as much return damage while surviving. The shield really does allow for a bit more aggressiveness. But, you still have to think of the Gary as a light, not a small Galahad.
So, as far as the actual question from the OP, my answer would be that they are too close to tell in potential survivability. But in overall application of the bot towards winning the match, Gary gets my vote.
