With all the, "I can't farm for gold," complaints, I'm curious to know how much earned gold do you consider an acceptable amount for your game playing day?

Great question. I'm happy with two tasks, so typically 60 Au. Anything above that is a bonus.
In fairness, anything above that didn't used to be a bonus, but I've had to temper expectations in the new system and can't take placing for Gold for granted.

I used to aim for around 150 on a reasonable day. Now 100 is a good day.

Daily tasks (hopefully for 70, settle for 60 - always change tasks for WSP back into Au) plus daily squad victory bonuses (9) plus 1.17 Au per match played. Assuming 15 matches, that's roughly 87 for a fairly active day. Play 25 and it's close to 100. Play only 6 (all in squads, winning half of them, completing daily tasks over the course of 2.5 days on average) and you're down to around 75 per day... quickly dropping to zero with less daily activity than that.
I assume 75 as a daily average for planning purposes, although in reality I'm generally somewhere in the 100-200 range depending on activity and how much I solo (I do better on Au when soloing but worse on Ag). Plus it seems like we are frequently in "event periods" where you get bonuses from snowflakes, coins, etc which can really add up. Figure 3 coins per match and something like 0.2 Au per coin, you're looking at a bonus of 10-15 Au per day... not exactly Christmas (where it seemed like ~4x as much Au from event items) but not too shabby, either.
But then I'm patient and don't see much need for Au. I can't earn Ag fast enough to need to accelerate upgrades, and there are only so many Au items for sale. Play for a month and you could get something nifty and new like a Galahad or a pair of orkans. Upgrade for a month and you're spending anywhere from a few million to over a hundred million Ag. That's why the earnings I track closely are in Ag.
New players have more need for gold, but they also get much more daily gold in the form of Au bonuses every time they level up. Those pay for the essentials (hangar slots, maybe a starter set of orkans) and WSPs provide a steady stream of new content in the form of different weapons and bots. I might eventually play around with a couple of britbots, maybe a zeus - but until then rhinos and plasmas scratch my itch for 'premium' content. Griffins are lots of fun and available for Ag. I have a little over 6500 gold sitting around waiting for room in my upgrade queue (and corresponding Ag to pay for it) to introduce the next new bot (galahad) but, there again, the upgrade process is my bottleneck rather than Au earnings.
As far as I can tell, the only value of earning gold any faster than the game is designed to trickle out (intentionally from a business standpoint to keep people addicted) would be to accelerate reaching "endgame" of 12/12 everything - assuming I had Ag to pay for it all, which I clearly don't. And what's the fun in reaching endgame any faster? That's when most people get bored and have to find something new to occupy the imagination.

Agree right around 70-75 is a decent amount per day. That's about 490-525 per week, around 2k a month.
There's certainly a decrease in utility higher up. Since settling on my top hangar makeup I no longer feel a burning need for Au or Wsp (I stopped paying AG for wsp when I hit 50k for a second time). Since moving beyond 10/10 I've started burning Au on high end insta upgrades (when the Ag permits). I've spent well over 5k Au on hurrying my upgrades up.
Brit bots are nice, but they're far from the end all be all of top tier. I know many top pilots who run largely Griff and Rhino heavy hangars, with the biggest Au expense being Orkans for them. 4 Orks cost less than 5k Au and one of the most important brawler weps in top tier.

150 always seemed the minimum reasonable amount for me. Grabbing just dailies means that for any of the 5k purchases you're grinding over two months, I like cutting that time in half. The plus about running solo is you can push for 200au so anything over minimum is a plus. However it heavily relies on your hanger being built for damage and beacon capping getting that 8-10au per match. If it's not then I'd probably be fine with 100 a day.

I run solo too and I average 200-250 a day. Beacon capping earns me the most. If I get in the top three damage, it's a bonus. I asked because I wasn't sure what "normal" is, and thought I was missing something with all the complaints.

I used to aim for around 150 on a reasonable day. Now 100 is a good day. Same. With 69 being the bare minimum (60 for tasks, 9 for winning with clanmates) In fact, I generally get to 90, making an average of 1 gold per game (but with a large variance, from 0.45 to 1.5)

I used to get 10 gold with 9x% win rate in the old day, now i got on average 2.4 gold per match with 76% win rate. Play 20 match per day plus missions gold minus wsp gold i got around 70 au per day, not too bad

With daily tasks and battle gold won I still get about 100 a day. Down a little, but not much.

I get less gold for playing just the game, but the thing is, is that I always do my daily tasks. Thats a minimum of 60. Some complain, yet some dont do their tasks.

I just play the game. I don't tank, but occasionally do run some odd or (generally though of as) useless builds for fun. Like today I was playing a lobber Tosh for a few games (kept many anicles in the kill box knocked down and won 7of 10) but I digress...
Before the MM change my gold production was averaging around 2 gold per match (lose, then win get zero, win 1, lose 2, win 8 ect) then MM hit and threw everything into chaos and getting any gold was rare. Now that the MM is starting to stabilise I'm back to making about 1.5 or so per match. It's not what I was getting before but it's not horrible. This week I have made around 375 gold (including tasks) since Monday.

With the old MM, I used to shoot for an overall average of 200/day with 150 as a minimum. I would sometimes clear the minimum just by playing enough matches to complete my tasks. 300 or more on a good day.
Now I aim to complete my tasks, and 100 is a good, satisfying day. Win rate is lower, avg gold per win lower, plus I play fewer matches.

I can tell you I feel better knowing I can try out other bots and take them to 10 instead of burning even more silver on bots from 10 to 12. In the mean time, I know I won't get burnt out trying new things.
