The Ancile double damage bug will be fixed in the near future (if it hasn't been already), however, to compensate the shield regen will be cut by 1/3. The regen nerf applies to Fujin and Ancile only; Carnage regen remains the same. So what does this equate to? If you were affected by the bug, you'll enjoy a 33% effective increase to both shield health and regeneration. Otherwise it's a 33% regeneration speed nerf.

I like the look of the 33% faster recharge.

Not sure I understood correctly... Ancile is getting nerfed? Or has been nerfed? - it still seemed tough on the Lancelot in battle tonight.

I haven't really notice any changes, I went up against quite a few Anciles today and they all still recharged after 2 seconds of being depleeted

Not really a nerf.
The developers originally increased the regen to make the Ancile more viable, but there appears to have been a bug for a very long time that has caused the Ancile to take double damage and it seems the developers were not aware of this when increasing the regen rate. (Which I find astonishing if true, especially considering the numerous internal tests they must've done when buffing the regen rate I can't believe no one would've noticed the extra damage)
Meaning buyers of the Ancile and Carnage and Fujin users have actually been getting half the advertised HP of the shield. Like myself who has an Ancile with an advertised 64.5k health, I'm only actually getting 32.25k due to the bug.
They're fixing the double damage issue so the shield's health is as advertised but if they leave the regen as it is then it would certainly be overpowered. Hence the 33% regen rate nerf to balance. Still much better than before, and when the fix goes live then you're truly getting the advertised health. The Carnage will certainly benefit from this.

Thank God. I am already sick of knocking down an anicle just to have it regenerate before I can reload. I would rather spend 2 volleys with my RBD knocking it down than 4 and it still eating part of the damage of 5&6.

So if I understand this correctly: The HP of some ancil shields may be increased by 33% but the regen may be decreased by 33%? The Carnage gets a straight up 33% increase in shield HP?

There was a bug in which the ancile would take double damage so was really only the equivalent 32k hit points maxed rather than the advertised 64k. They are fixing this so effectively the shield strength doubled. They are then making it regen 33% slower.

Okay, but this means this bug has been around since ancile/ carnage/ fujin have been released? And just now they're correcting all of them? That's a lot of time for an unnoticed bug

During internal tests for the 2.5 regen buff they would have had to fire at the shield many times to ensure the regen was working as intended. How someone wouldn't have noticed the inordinate damage being taken during this time is beyond me. There is a chance perhaps their internal version might not have had the bug...or they knew about it and were hoping no one would notice...or they really weren't paying attention, or...they don't run internal tests on their changes. (I very much hope it's not the latter) Anyway, it's being fixed which is all that matters.

I hope they give out details of what reacharge rate will be for each level.

So... will the community get any sort of definitive update to confirm when/if the bug has been fixed?

So... will the community get any sort of definitive update to confirm when/if the bug has been fixed? I think that was the whole point. The bug HAS been fixed. Fact checking will be done by the community, as is typical.

I haven't noticed a difference, the carnage shield is still 「dookie」ty and ancile still regenerating too fast.

"The Ancile double damage bug will be fixed in the near future (if it hasn't been already)," I appreciate knowing the bug has been acknowledged and will be fixed and all that... I was just checking to see if we would get a definitive noticed If/when it is fixed for sure.

This double damage bug was already fixed in last weekend's 2.6.0 test server, but with the buffed regeneration rate from last update (5% of hitpoints per sec), the ancile and Fujin were way too strong now. So in the mid week test server 2.6.1, Pixonic dialed back the regeneration rate by 1/3 to 3.33% of HP per sec). That way the ancile or Fujin would now be taking correct damage and effectively be twice as strong as before, but it wouldn't need to regenerate as fast to compensate or it would be too strong. So the next 2.6 update (any day now) will have this double damage buff and 1/3 regent nerf. It will still be a buff though.
In the current version, if a Fujin shield had 100k and got hit for half damage of 50k, at 5% regenerate it would taken 10 secs to get the shield back to full health. In the next update the shield will be twice as strong, so in that same case it would only take 25k damage, not 50k. The new regen rate of 3.33% of HP per sec would take 7.5 secs now instead of 10 secs before to get the shield back to full health. It's a slight buff.

Since fujin can not move with abilities, you should lower the durability by increasing recovery speed. You can use a technique to shoot and avoid sharply against superior weapons of momentary fire power like Orkan. However, for weapons like Molot and Punisher, the timing interval of attacks gets longer. Durability is 70% of the main body and the recovery amount is 5%. For Ancile, please increase durability by about 30%. Orkan has been strengthened. It is funny that this weapon is not reinforced. Of course it is too strong, so it will also be differentiation of Fujin's shield and the recovery speed will be 2% / sec Heachi and Cenage also have a recovery speed of 2%. Among them, Carnage doubles the recovery speed during Rush. The radius of the shield is reduced by 5 m, and the shot at
