I just reached Champion League with noob gear (less than 2 month f2p) So here are some tips for who wants to unlock gold and higher chests:  My best bots (but any fast 6/6 is enough):  How to: 1. Play mostly KotH (other DMG score modes require OP gear) 2. Rush to first beacon with a fast bot (Kumiho, Strider, Hover or even Cossack) 3. To win u need center beacon 2 times (holding it more than reds) 4. If ur team holds 1st beacon for +90%, move ur heavier bot in center at end (u just need hold last beacon few secs) 5. If ur team doesn't help at 1st beacon, game is lost, focus on safe beacons to minimize loss of rank points |

3 dashbots and 3 orkans too...
3 orkans + is 4th slot + 5th slot is a LOT of gold for 1135 victories...

I am of the opinion that koth is the most selfish possible mode. Especially when mixed with random all you have to do is move between your home and side beacon and rack up the points. Yes, you will lose more often than winning but you will also get top beacon time 9 out of 10 times.
I moved from bottom of m3 to bottom of m2 in a weekend when koth was in random. yes I did try to win games but it was very easy to know when your going to lose and to concentrate on points.

I will say, your method works but doesn't earn you a great hangar for champion league, and doesn't teach you what you need to be able to play against champion league players in anything except KOTH.
You are basically a champion in 1 game mode only.

0.8 kills average, 100k damage average, you only good in KoTH.
Good luck surviving in champs league when KOTH put in random.

i'm always glad to see fellow pilots reach Champion league, and this is definetly the first time i saw someone did it playing koth exclusevly and with pretty low lvl gear! good job!
on the other hand, this is one more more proof that leauge system is completly flawed...

Yes, KotH is a different league, where speed matters more than raw power Other modes rank players by damage, still u can unlock rewards with KotH, then drop back to ur league FlashAhAhh I won all from Lunar event and Super chests + about 10k gold (farmed) |

I will additionally say that is a hell of a lot of playing in 2 months. I have about 4 times as many victories. I play a fair lot - bu i have been playing 10 times as long as you.

I ain't even gonna complain that you chose this method to farm rewards... Much rather see someone doing this in a game mode that I don't even play than tankers that are running champ hangars dropping to farm bronze and silver and gold players.

Gratz on the achievement but curious what platform this is. In my experience on iOS KOTH as a stand alone has no player pool so you wait forever if you can even get a game. That hangar would be slaughtered in other Champ modes or if KOTH is added to random.

I deliberately don't try very hard to catch beacons in KOTH because I don't want to artificially elevate my league position.
I usually help take 1 beacon for the team's sake then just stomp around and try to take down reds for the other 8 1/2 minutes.

Koth is the worst. It’s literally the stupidest way to play this game. Matches usually last only 4-5 minutes. And skipping maps before the countdown timer ends now puts you in LQ. This game just sucks more and more as time goes on.

I've only been playing for about ~2 months (F2P) and only have around 650 ish victories and just entered Daimond league(edit, err correction, I just realized I've been playing since July, which is like 4 months, holy cow!). I'm about to get a Spectre(via winning parts/chests & Royale mostly). I have A Lancelot and (unused)Fury that I got when Workshop 4.3(?) came and production times were silly fast, only like 2 hrs for 100 components or something(burned through all my silver by the time they did the next update).
How OP got to Champion and afforded(or won) 2 Haechis and a Kumiho in 2 months time is uhhh interesting. I don't think playing a bunch of King of the Hill would do it. Must have had a lot of luck with chests & royale and done a heck of a lot of playing...(but if so, I'm jelly ;D)
