Is it just me, or are leos taking ogre the world. my plasmahad can barely stand up to these monsters that i once laughed at. Their health is insane, their firepower is insane, their speed is..... is...... ah its still shiz
anyway leos are becoming almost a better knife fighter, dare i say, than the lance
but that's just my opinion *sips tea*

While I absolutely love the Leo (my favorite bot) it doesn't hold a candle to the Galahad or lancelot imho. Yes you will walk away damaged by still able to fight the good fight.

And here I take them down routinely with a thunder/pinta Tosh... except the thunder/mag Leo he's nasty!

I have been playing a leo for a couple of days (6/9 thunder/mags).
It is woeful. Maybe the DB version is better, but it gets chopped up by all and sundry. Too many shields not enough range or speed to compensate.
Yes it's got a lot of health, but 1 on 1 with a lance, rhino or Gal it doesn't stand a chance.

After the health redistribution, the leo is now a valid stand in for other knifers. To be honest, Ag mediums and heavies are in spitting distance of their premium counterparts these days, with the major advantages/disadvantages boiling down to marginal denominations of instant firepower, speed, and abilities.

So true, I used to filet Leos left and right with my TOP Golem. Now I have to be wary of Leos even with my Galahad.

I love seeing red team Leos --- don't care what setup they have. Those are walking bags of silver. I mean, what shield bot with plasma can't kill the Leo?
Heck, even Leo's give PDB Griffs and Zeus Furies a new lease on life.
Leos are silver in the bank if you can get to them first, cause there's rush to get the easy damage points every time a Leo is spotted.

The best way to kill a nasty leo is by using a nastier leo. If enemy uses Thunder Pinatas, You use my leo. It's Thunder, Mag, Gekko, Pinata.

Rock a Leo and win. 6/5 Ag heavy bots are the new Cossack / Destrier / Schutze.

I mean, I don't have one, but rarely fear it. Plasma weapons kill it it a few seconds.

Then those pilots are doing it wrong. The Carny should not be getting hit. I can take a thunder carny through at least 3 kills in most games... and that is playing aggressively. If I am cautious, can stretch out a Thunder Carn for a while... but it is almost a support bot at that point: shoot a few times at a light bot then bail, pop a bubble shield then bail, etc. And if in a TriCarn, I have to ditch, normally, to get out of it. If you have any kind of decent Blue team, a midrange Carny has a good life expectancy. Just can't charge in to every fight guns blazin'. Cover is love. Cover is life.

True, but the same could be same for a lot of bots. Carnage is supposed to be a very dangerous bot, or at least I thought it was designed this way. Currently, I can't say it's much more dangerous than the average bot, really. Just too fragile IMO.
I mean, a light bot like the Gareth can take much more beating. That doesn't seem very logical to me.

My ancile.. Trip aphids Leo is a freakin madman. I sometimes bench his sexy 「bum-bum」, cuz running this setup I destroybl every bot in two volleys. Almost take no damage.. And never get too use my other four bots in my stable. Heheh Leo .. You big sweaty, sexy, Dirty Birdy..

the leo was always a good bot, with the small health buff it will be better. Keep in mind is is the perhaps the best silver heavy bot and definitely the most versatile heavy bot out there.

In terms of piloting enjoyment I prefer Leo to Griffin. Trying out a thunder magnum Leo at the moment. I enjoyed Trident Pin Leo.

If you were looking to put tridents on something other than a Carnage or a Fury, would you guys use a Leo with 3 pins over Tasha with 2 Tridents and 2 pins? I am thinking Leo's speed and health may make it a better platform despite running one fewer Trident?

No, I'd take a Trident Pin Natasha over a Trident Pin Leo.

That's what I'm trying out right now. I like the extra 100m and splash the Trident offers over pins. My Tasha is still low level. The Leo keeps weapons on very well.

I prefer the Leo TriPins over the Natty, as well, but the Natty is at least a little more palatable after the buffs.
I will still choose the Carny first. The only exception may be when I get 3 gekkos leveled. Zeus/Gek Leo is just fun.

In the right situation a carnage trident can do some wonderful things. I came up against a badly piloted ork / pinata galahad the other day. At close range. My shield weathered most of the initial barrage and he took 6 trident hits. Then I put my rush on, and started weaving while running. He chased me with shield raised! He went down on the third barrage of tridents and I still had 1/3rd health. If it had been a plasma Gal at that range I would have been toast. I was in the wrong position at the wrong time. I was just lucky he had the wrong bot.
