They must've gone through all of your old posts and "liked" almost every single one! That takes some serious dedication!. Not sure if I'd be grateful or worried I had a stalker! Just kidding ?

A brand new account too. Its 6 hours old. Strange they would start an account just to like ALL your posts.
Something tells me those notifications came as no surprise.
Pretty pathetic bro.

I like to see some war robot related stuff here, instead of someone likes and dislike post. we do have a off-topic section for discussion not related to war robots.

StrayedWhat purpose do all these likes and unlikes serve anyways? They don't actually have any bearing on anything other than to serve as a one click no written comment option. And they are not counted towards post counts. So what difference does it make whether or not it's spammed or not? This isn't a criticism btw. I'm genuinely curious as an old moderator. This wasn't an available feature when I was doing so.

This wasn't an available feature when I was doing so. Sorry if I speak out of turn. As a normal user, the number of likes often serves as a very rough measure of credibility of a forum member. People with some number of likes are more likely : - civil and sincere in their interactions with other members, at the least, - their opinions and attitudes mirror the atmosphere of the forum members as a whole (does not mean that they are always right, just mirroring better the public opinion), - or providing resources or tips often useful to others. So, to me, this measure of reputation is somewhat useful. And spamming it will affect the usefulness of the measure,

But then if they aren't always correct then that still means those don't actually mean anything. I've just been using them in lieu of posting a useless comment or if I agree/disagree with the subject matter. And this thread was obviously created in jest so I laughed at it and liked it. Before these options a poster's credibility was simply whether or not what they posted was actually truthful and useful to the forum community. Not what was popular. If you got caught out in a lie or posted misinformation then you had better own up to it quick or correct the mistake or never be taken seriously henceforth.

Lol. Little bugger was in the middle of hiting my profile to try to cover his tracks when Strayed pulled him up. Whats the bet he was going to accuse ME of setting him up!!! Dear @mrjoshie333 Let me reiterate what I said earlier, that you are pathetic. And I'll also explain that it's one thing to fake your own credibility but much, much worse to attack someone elses! 50 likes is all he got done luckily.

Wow that sucks. I just had my feelings hurts when nobody liked or commented on my posts. Now I find out that I had no credibility when I spend most of my time being stupid. I'll have you know anybody that knows me, knows I have a very credible level of stupidity.

Lol. Typical. Accuses me of being butthurt.... Then gets upset when I accidentally hit the lol button when editing. It doesn't bother me Thor. I was laughing at how pathetic and stupid the OP is.

Anyone can get 1000 likes if they post long enough.

I get what you’re saying, but oftentimes it’s fairly difficult for a noob to judge whether or not information is truthful. In those cases, a like/post ratio can help the noob judge whether or not a poster’s information is generally accepted within the forum.
