He was asked by subscribers on his latest Natasha with Dragoon and Arbalest video if he worked for Pixonic. Here is his reaction: So, Adrian has denied working for Pixonic.... But is that really the case... No. One. Knows...

Sigh. What’s the point in spreading random hearsay, gossip and conspiracy theories.
I for a fact know that he lives and works in Canada. He doesn’t work for Pix.

I wonder why people are so concerned about this?
Even if that was the case Adrian is a great advocate for Pixonic and we all play the game and that would help maintain the players we have and potentially bring in more people.
He's always seemed fair in his criticisms and is a level headed guy.

He's always seemed fair in his criticisms and is a level headed guy. I think this misstates the conversation about the possibility of Adrian working for Pixonic in an official capacity. I believe the conversation arose when someone noted that Adrian said he was going to announce something soon, and the poster speculating that perhaps Adrian was going to work for Pixonic in some official capacity. The conversation which flowed from there was focused on what impact Adrian would have, if the story was true. I also think it is a bit dismissive to say this conversation amounts to a "conspiracy theory." Adrian is, in fact, in contact with Pixonic on a fairly regular basis. Videos of his stream have recently been posted on Pixonic's own Facebook page. The point is that Adrian and Pixonic unambiguously do have some form of relationship, although the contours of it are not clear to us.

The top content creators should be in consistent contact with Pixonic, it's only good for both parties. I never said it was a conspiracy theory, in my opinion if that was the case that would be one of the better outcomes, I'd be more worried if we lost a top content creator like Adrian to a different game, that would make me sad and I truly hope that isn't the case. If he goes to work for Pixonic on an official level, I'd be happy. I prefer watching Adrian over Manni every time. adriannnnnn

People like to point out other's faults or wrongdoings, whether imagined or real. Adrian, being visible and well known in the community, is no exception.
I appreciate that there is a backlash to most of Pix's decisions, as I share in that backlash. But not EVERYTHING they do is wrong and not EVERYONE that is associated with Pix, even as just a YT content creator, is a shill that wants only to fatten their wallet at the expense of the game's quality.
Adrian seems the same as he was back in the day in the earlier vids, before any recognition by Pix, and that is good enough proof for me that the dude is just doing his thing because he enjoys it, and does it well enough that he gets some recompense for the time spent on it. Good for him.

I, too, would consider it a smart move by Pixonic to hire Adrian (or someone like Adrian) who understands game balance and why Pixonic's hyperaggressive monetization strategy is self-defeating in the long term. And to paraphrase the Most Interesting Man in the World: I don't always watch War Robots Youtube streams, but when I do, I watch adriannnnnn.

Perhaps finally players will be heard through Adrian’s will-soon-to-be-offical War Robots YT channel or act as a “bridge” between players and the dev. team, or maybe even have a say on War Robots’s future developments(though most unlikely),,, who knows. Either way, we can all hope it’ll be for the betterment of the game.

BTW... This was just supposed to be a conspiracy theory meant to be funny while still making people think about it. I didn't mean to start any arguments...

Pixonic changed the direction of the game to make quick money, it is a business and no one can convince a business not to make money. We as long time players can see that the business model Pix is shifting to is not sustainable and will end as any other P2W games. Adrian did warned Pix when they made the shift but again, he is just one person and none of us expects that he or anyone else could stand between Pix and their money, regardless if he works for them or not. The conspiracy thread was just for fun, it is always entertaining to engage in a respectable healthy debate, I get to see the thought process of some long time contributors in this forum and I was surprised, for a gaming forum some of you are quite profound. Hats off to you guys and Adrian, keep up the good work.

Why's this in news? Pix uses Adrian as a known mouth piece, much like charities do with celebrities. Celebrities do so freely, I'd guess, while Adrian gets to use one of Pix's hangars from time to time.

Pixonic runs a network of paid influencers to move their product. They are always looking for the community stand outs to gain traction over naive spend thrifts to sell their game to. Notable Youtubers are "influencers"..they convince you that 400 dollar bots are reasonable, with the state of the game I would say bad influences.
It is a symbiotic relationship: YouTube influencers need views for money, Pixonic needs social media coverage by seemingly independent high presence personalities to push their pixels. Its very deliberate..
As a side note to the absurd... Pixels are infinitely reproducible for every person on the planet instantly. Economically speaking, a virtually worthless good/service due to its extraordinary non scarcity. It only becomes scarce with artificial restriction methods and pay walls limiting access. The other element is hyper promoting desirability by psychological propaganda...In that you need to have that 400 dollar all powerful bot and weapon; to feel all powerful is a virtual drug...
Pixoninc is in the business of gaming all of us. And they are top shelf at it.

Ya know,if he does get hired on maybe PT, good for him. My 2cents is he shouldn't. Just because of the conflict of interest. He can NOW criticize at will, but as an employee or contractor the conflict would diminish his content.

I happen to know that Adrian USED to work for Wonka Chocolates, until he was busted by Interpol for his international midget prostitution ring... Importing underage midgets for the enjoyment of Oompa Loompa factory workers. He also stole fizzy lifting drinks. He bumped into the ceiling which had to be washed and sterilized. And was subsequently fired. I hear now he sells blackmarket Everlasting Gobstppoers and Peyote at various a music Festivals...I know this to be fact. Fact

I have been in a position as a freelance writer (per-word /as assigned basis) to be verily generously paid for writing/photographing punk-rock bands, art and records for a number of different magazines before hard-living and bad health caught up to me AND IT WAS FIRETRUCKING AWESOME!!!
So if Pix has decided to support anyone in a monetary way for doing stuff for or about War Robots..,. I hope it isnt in just digital game BS and some of that money that everyone puts into the game is helping to create lasting jobs and improving lifestyles for people like Adrian and others.

He obviously works for Pixonic. Ask him about the new P2W scheme they have developed he claims it doesn't exist. Then he talks about the "free" stuff you get as if it's some kind of boon, stating "We didn't get free stuff when I started playing." while failing to mention Ag payouts were 4x what they are now, and the majority of meta weapons and bots, if not all, cost only Ag when he started playing. He's a Pissonic shill through and through. The majority of his vids lately have been filmed with the MKII hangar that was gifted to him, and he always has ~50k Au stockpiled on his personal account, even while speeding MKII upgrades. Unless the guy is spending $300/wk. on Au this is clear sponsorship by Pix. Even if he is, they're still sponsoring him with a $10k hangar. I still enjoy the content he creates when he uses his personal hangar, but the guy is clearly a Pix shill.
