Prior to the new MM system rollout, I mentioned I'd been accumulating WSP and was essentially told, "wait until the new system shakes out."
It's now shaken out (for me, at least, YMMV). I'm back to thinking about what to do with them. I have a few options.
1. Thunder Carnage (13,000 WSP)
I have the Thunders, naturally. I do like smashmouth, knife-fighting play perhaps best of all, and my Thundorkan Boa is my every-game leadoff hitter. This guy seems to play out more like a Stalker, though- lots of ambush and tactical play.
2. Trident Carnage (28,000 WSP)
I'd have to save up a little to get it, but this is also an option for midrange play. Ever since I got my Doc I've been enjoying midrange a bit more.
3. Rhino (15,000 WSP)
I've read these are tricky to pilot, but the in-your-face style also appeals. I'd also need to buy another Taran, I only have two and one's in use on the Plasmahad.
Hangar Setup: My starting lineup is a Tulu Doc and RDB Griffin for midrange, Boa for brickfighting, Plasmahad for general utility, and Stalker for capping/harassing.

Thunder Carnage is a free kill for all shield bots, and they are too situational now. Trident Carnage is a staple choice because of it's reliable damage. I found myself mothballing my Rhino for a Griffin because of the terrible matchmaking. Every build is better on a Griffin except for Orkan Magnum and Plasma

Have to make a similar decision with 45.000 wsp. After a week of research I decided it will be a Trident Carnage.
But will delay the purchase until the next update, gonna wait what game will be like then.

I've got 22k WSP on my Android account, and I've been seriously considering swapping the thunders on my Carny for Tridents. There's just sooo much MRS in the current meta builds, in spite of the 1 - 2 caps and 1 - 2.5 K/D I get leading with a Thunder Carny, it's too much of a glass cannon once the heavy midrange rocket and missile lobbers waddle into range.

I liked gepards, cossacks and schutze before the MM change. Rhino is painfully slow and lacks maneuverability.

Trident carnage. Then a lot of upgrades (shines at 8/9)

I have to go with a Trident Carnage also, can fire, duck and cover quickly, provide great support for team, especially on a map like Yam. From the sides they can slow a teams advance up the ramp. They are annoying as all get out to knife fighters. Have seen some top tier guys rip opposition up with them. Have the ability to back away quickly and be out of weapons range and they probably have laughed at many a player, can't hit, what you can't catch.
Have seen them work well on all maps, due to the pilots skill. Much to my dismay.
Of course as with any bot it takes practice to become an efficient threat.
Don't have one, not my style. So my observations are made from the opposing team and being hit by them.

I just went for trident carny (as my avatar may suggest lol)...takes time to get a hold of it, and being atm just 6/7 does not pack hell of a punch, rather finish/distract some reds. Acts as a decent support though, as long as you stay at range and back pedal every now and then (save the Rush ability for emergencies or distance cutting after spawn). I hope to get it to 7/9 or so, maybe then I can get it to actually start dealing damage.
