I freaking loved this movie when I was a kid.
If you have not seen Robot Jox, you probably need to find a way to watch it ASAP.

Ah, retro stuff? I might add the following game, which I was playing in the mid 90s. A superb robot fighting game, imho:  I was just listening to the synth menu music. Wow. Takes me way back. If you never played it, have a look at it. Has tournament mode and all and a lot of robots. |

I have a friend who insisted we watch Robot Jox shortly after Pacific Rim came out. I'm still angry that the film took 2 hours of my life.
The film was like watching some strange alternate reality version of Power Rangers where the characters take themselves far too seriously.

I watched it last year? around the time Pacific Rim came out. Not too bad. My son was watching power rangers just after i watched Pac rim.. and it hit me... The robots The monsters The pilots suits Gypsys head dropping on to the bot... Mind blown. Lol. |
