What do you guys think if War Robots was made into a Hollywood blockbuster?
Would be interesting to see the bots and weapons in action.
Similar to transformers genre but content is based on the war robots game.
Good vs bad, red vs blue teams and vice versa.

War Robots: Rise of the Tankers and Clubbers
TBH, I'd rather see a movie in the Battletech/Mechwarrior universe. More background there for a more comprehensive story line.

Decline of gameplay and balance began with the release of the K-Bots, I'm fine with these guys btw., and finally begin of the downslide with release of Shocktrain. All of this stuff wouldn't be a problem if the game had a working match making. It's ridiculous that the game allows level 12 MK II stuff in silver league. In single player this would be fine. But it kills multiplayer games, especially the competitive ones. |

War Robots, this summers action blockbuster coming to theater near you!
This action packed film is a story about the entanglement of love, rust & trust. What once started out as a love affair between pilots and developers. Turned into a nightmare of betrayal and hate. All because a third party company turned the game into nothing but a money sucking machine. Then the age of rust sets in. As old pilots leave after seeing and feeling the burn. The new eager pilots come in to replace them. Not knowing they are just the new fuel to the companies machine.

yea once you pay to watch it you need to pay a couple Hundred more to continue watching or it just repeats the last scene or you could watch the Trailers a couple times so you can see the next couple seconds.
or some tanker or fader could start talking during the movie an ruin it too.

I always thought of it as a world where wars don't happen or no longer happen, and nations equip bots with weapons of war just to let them loose in combat on live television, for sh*ts and giggles, since they aren't necessarily using them. Teams of 5 pilots or less will form a sort of team, and are paired up with 6 other teams. One bot per pilot, they have to choose who goes first, then next, and onwards, maybe the pilot is the nationality of whatever nation manufactured the bot they use, who knows. When a pilot ejects, they're out of the fight and the remaining pilots have to choose who's next, or maybe they have a manager who does that, I dunno, i'm imagining a ridiculously dangerous sports tournament. I once thought of this in detail when I was trying to sleep but didn't bother writing it down. The closest i can think of is something like this. |

I think it should be a comedy movie.Like everyone goes to the front line to fight but there is a guy who stay at the start point using Butch/Fury equiped with Trebuchet.

What is should be about is the F2P divorce lawyer who defends his client on grounds of tanking and whaling is therapeutic, and no weapon does it like shocktrains...
