I love this game; the game play, strategy; diversity...on and on. I love (platonically) the developers that poured real heart and passion into this game (GODS, I miss you folks).
But as an ex corporate hack, it kills me to see Pixo falling into the same Marketing Mantra of bygone elites. More gold more gold more gold.

Just start by admitting, you don't have the user base to support a meaningful ELO system.
That the goal is to coddle the cubs (because they have more purchasing headroom)
, and thrash the core.
That you're reallocating resources to 'gimmicky gambeling-esc' online ventures (making servers crash)...(please don't tell us that the MM did it...nothing crashes from statics calcs...unless you've have had inepts do the coding).
Don't tell us, that you wish you were Boob Beach in revenue (or what ever is hot now)...cause that's what you're telling us
The truth will set you free.
Get back to basics, and focus on the gaming experience and not some ridiculous 3 month revenue goal.
