...as performed by the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. Found myself listening/watching it repeatedly over the last few days. it is my new found obsession...sigh! Ennio Morricone is a great. That score is genius. I love listening to the play between the 3 main instruments in the music - Voice is Ugly (Wallace), Ocarina is Bad (Van Cleef), Flute is Good (Eastwood). The Ecstasy of Gold is so well placed in the movie too - love the final showdown. The music makes the closeups work - Leone did long closeups to Ennio's scores in all his movies with him.

That was simply amazing! Brings back memories of watching as a child. Loved the old spaghetti westerns.

I did not know that the instruments represented the main characters. That's really interesting, and yet another reason to re-listen to this score!

Huge fan of the film, and this was well awesome. although the wah wah lady looks kinda irritated when she's doing it at the start But oo-ooo chick at the end was well into it. The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain do a fun version as well (but nowhere near as epic)

I find the sequence at around 1:40 exhilarating. Also it's amusing to see the "Office Space" guy on trumpets.

In the orchestra version, I just noticed the wahwah lady's earrings. I take back my comment about her not being into it.
