I am curious... is this being pushed by Pixonic, in exchange for 6 pack rewards or something?
Hanger X battles sound great, but 6 pack battles will always be superior because weapons at level 6 don't do ridiculous damage, you can customize your hanger (everyone isn't running the same thing), and some of the hanger X builds are just so much more powerful than others.
The ability to pre-plan and customize your team hangers and thus strategies long before a match, as well having more time in engagements due to lower weapon damage, gives skilled players a better chance to win against unskilled players.

I tried one this morning. It was silly. Kind of confusing. It was fun to mix old and new bots. It was not fun to use a Rajin.
I kind of hate these new features. I guess its fun to test skill, but with no rewards it is stupid.
What would be really cool is if you could bet gold or silver on the outcome. That would kick 「bum-bum」.
Or give components as a prize for wins.

Skill is mesured by the choises you make, when you cant chose ur robots and weapons thats not a real mesurment.
But no complaints about free hanger that we can use for fun and fair balanced competetion, thats one of few good things that Pix have done since a very long time!
In 6pack, players with resources can bring Lance taran/orkan, while others cant.
In HangerX, i must learn using dash and scourage and Rog.. U need to improve my skills ?

True skill is excelling under fixed, suboptimal conditions and rising to the top. Doing well with bots and loadouts you aren't familiar with is by far a better metric of skill than doing well with comfort and familiarity. |

I got the go-ahead finally. Been sending people who expressed interest in X hangar customs to the discord for it.
Only a half dozen-ish so far, but that's between yesterday and today.
Might get more biters yet.

How about a league free of dash bots and component weapons? This game is becoming a joke for anyone that doesn’t have component bots or an endless credit limit, not to mention if you’re in a league you shouldn’t face players above your league, let the spenders in champion league fight each other, anyone playing a silver or gold lineup is at a disadvantage because they aren’t spending, and that’s not right, I’ve faced lineups with mk2 lvl 2 specters the first day they came out with shocktrain of the same level, it’s ridiculous, put the leauges in check for players not pixonics bank account, or buff the silver/gold bots, make it fair for people to play. Get rid of the random mode please! Pixonic has enough technology to have a menu for the battle you want, not this camper sniper joke called deathmatch, if I wanted to hide behind things I’d surgically have my testicles removed, cause that is what deathmatch is, a game of cowards. Simply put, if your lineup doesn’t have component bots/weapons in it then you should face players with the same, and introduce new silver bots/weapons, you know, things anyone can get.
