I have read about tiers and leagues, bronze silver gold etc. Where do you see what tier you are on or league you are in? ? I will not even go into all the abbreviated words in these threads. I just have fun playing but would like to know my tier/league stats. I have had ppl ask me to join their clan but I don't even know how to except their team invites..... Thanks a ton!

There are no tiers anymore with the new matchmaking system. It's basically buy a heavy bot and upgrade it.

There are no tiers anymore with the new matchmaking system. It's basically buy a heavy bot and upgrade it. Let me add to this a tad. In the old MM (match maker) system, the server would match you with peers of like weapon/bot strengths....sort of. Depending on how strong these combos were, put you into a tier or class of like combos. But it was a very flawed system and would match highly experienced players with low level bots and high level weapons against noobs who couldn't afford nor had the time in to upgrade anywhere near those levels, hence where the term "seal clubbing" was born. As bmc said, it's all about the big boys now, find what your style of fighting in is and concentrate on leveling that setup.

And FWIW jacksparrow , that Galahad is the best bot you own, learn how to use him (the Carnage isn't bad either, just strap a couple of thunders on top of him and ambush)

You might want to reshuffle your weapons between your Stalker, Griff and Rhino:
Magnum Taran Rhino Piñata Orkan Griffin Magnum Stalker
The official (or not, its official enough) names for these bots are:
PDB Rhino DB Griffin Ninja Stalker
But you might want to switch the Magnums from the Stalker to Aphids ASAP, it's definitely worth the cost.

yes, you CANNOT go wrong in the Galahad. If you are SMART in using it then you will do some serious damage with it and as long as it has Plasma. Now for the Carnage you could put Tridents/Zues on him to help him survive longer.

I always get hit with them though. I like to cap beacons and then just run straight into the fight. Normally do around 500k damage but knotice bots with weaker weapons do more damage. Not sure what I'm doing wrong

I have to ask. What are you referring to as a shot gun?

Maybe. Trident could look like a shotgun though.

Maybe. Trident could look like a shotgun though. But a thunder *is* a shotgun.

Maybe. Trident could look like a shotgun though. Shotguns don't carry rockets I am aware of this. I also know that the thunder essentially is a shotgun (with a very different shape). I am trying to clarify with the OP what is being meant. Conjecture from others is not going to answer that question.

Conjecture from others is not going to answer that question. Shotgun and thunder are one in the same. Lots of shot devastating at short range and useless at long range. Sorry for the (shotgun) analogy

As I was asking. What's the trick to hitting all the time with aphids? Mine hit walls and even in wide open space mine seem to miss. Maybe my homing system has a glitch hehe?

Honestly, I still get nailed with aphids quite often. I manage to dodge when I can in faster bots, but they are still a serious threat in the hands of skilled players, especially versus heavies. The best way to use them is with patience, placement, and guerilla style play. What I do like, is the nerf made it nearly necessary for aphid users to leave cover to get a clean shot. Fair play.

Considering the Aphids: Pick your shots. Prefer slow, big robots that DONT move lateral to you. Practise firing at Griffins moments before they land from a jump. Practise chainfiring against Anciles.
Example: A good target is a Leo/ Natasha/ Fury that is moving towards you/ away from you/ standing still.
A bad target is anything faster than 35 moving lateral to you. Or Griffins that have a jump ready. Also note that shieldbots can absorb most damage with their shields (when they dont outrun your salvo with shield down) - even Lancelots if the pilot manages to backpedal a bit in time.
Edit: aphids also make for nice shotguns. Thats basically how I use them on my Galahad. Point blank in the face, spiced with an Orkan. Leaves pretty impressive holes in heavys if youre close enough.
