So I found myself starting off in a match earlier with 3 other lights, 2 Garys and a Gep on Yamanatau. Since I was in my Stalker and had aphids, I figured let me just go to the middle beacon and hold there while the others grabbed the side beacons. Especially since Stealth helps out when exposing myself in the cap. All the lights followed me leaving the side beacon uncapped. If more than 1 light spawns, please ensure someone grabs the side beacons

Lights flitting around Yama like a pack of pigeons is my new favorite visual.

If one turns Blue when you're near it, it's the game's way of telling you you're not doing enough to help your team win, and need to quit durdling about and get back to the fight!

I've learned I can't move first. Ever. The only way to run a light is to let them start to move first, then go for a different beacon.
Unfortunately they will probably fail spectacularly anyway, but at least they might get a beacon first.

Oh, right. Real players still sometimes run lights.
Imagine how much it hurts when you're Ina Plasmahad. I mean, I'm fast, but not *that* fast.

I've been capping beacons in my Fury in some of matches just to prove I can do it (well sometimes....sometimes I die a horrible death). Time to show those light bots how we heavy bot roll (well, we actually trundle)!

Sometimes blues forget to look around and just follow their own personal plan. A good lesson here - read and react. That said, it is so annoying to see the stalker that drops far left run towards the beacon at far right when my Galahad has it handled...

What I really hate abt some players is at they start with lights fighting to be the first to cap them. Die shortly later, they start camping, nvm the beacons anymore.
I give up winning every time I see this. I'll just camp along with them.

You want some etiquette? How about when you see a heavy blow someone off a beacon and move to cap it you don't go hauling 「bum-bum」 toward it to beat him there by a half second.

They don't want you to cap it, so they have the lead in beacon capping? After all, humans are a very greedy bunch...

Not the most relevant post to the thread, but, hey, frustration noted. As a Medium bot enthusiast that runs heavies and lights as well, I understand that the struggle.. it is real. I even slow down sometimes in the initial beacon push, while in a light, and let whatever heavy/medium that was headed to the beacon I was going to, get it with me, if they are close and it won't hamper the game... since we both get the cap. I run lights to harass the enemy and cap beacons for the win, not for the Au. I figure, if I do my job right, I will prolly get the Au for capping anyway, without being a 「cotton headed ninny muggins」 about it.

Ohw, right. Real players still sometimes run lights. Imagine how much it hurts when you're Ina Plasmahad. I mean, I'm fast, but not *that* fast. 50kph is fast enough, start capping! I mean, sure, but if I grab D and start to move to harass A and then have to truck it back to E, we're gonna have a worse time, give or take which side I'm on and if I start E instead. on the *other* hand, Injust had a game where 3 stalkers and a Gary spawned in Springfield, farm and whatever the spawn right next to farm is called as the starts. Gary moved to Harris the bridge, the stalkers all shot out like lasers to a single spawn point each, and the the farm stalker ran interference for Gary, letting Gary drop the enemy's spawning beacon and keep it uncapped (while we had 3). That in turn caused so much chaos that my Plasmahad at the far beacon stalker cut over and put the stalker solidly in the covered beacon. In a *squad free* game. So sometimes the lights are alright. Also, how do you nutzo light pilots live with being so under gunned? I'm not questioning the efficacy, I've been torn apart by a Piñata stalker in my time, but how do you *bear* it?

The rush of the wind through my hai-... wait, no thats not it.
The adrenaline from the torque as it pushes me into my pilot sea-... wait, no I'm in my recliner...
Ummm... I just like running around like Speedy from Loony Toons. Can sometimes take out a lot of big bad behemoths in my Gary, so don't feel too undergunned with him.
