no build. No Fujin. these things are like a carnage that has no rush. Slow, and gets in the way of the team. They are far too fragile to use, and with their other flaws, there is really no value in these bots past diamond league.

I use a level 6 plasma taran in my diamond 3 6/6 account. It does at least as well as the other 4 bots in that account.

They are only useless until you get ambushed by one. I scoffed at my Fujin for ages cause I could never learn to use it properly. At the same time though, I've been toasted by them more often than not. If you can learn to use one, then Taran is a beast as is Orkan. Both these builds can waste anything that gets into range. Once, on Shenzhen, I got wasted by a Scourge Fujin. Since then, I've wanted to run one too. When I finally got my 3rd Scourge, I tried it out. It's a decent build. Not sure if I like it betther than a Zeus/Scourge Lancelot yet though, but it's good at harassing an individual red to distraction, and if they try to close, your damage ramps up.
The key to getting good with the Fujin is knowing when to slam on the shield. Too early and you're a beacon to any sniper or plasma build. Too late and you find out what the term "glass cannon" really means.

I don’t believe that there is one “best” build. It depends what you want it for.
- Hydra Fujin. Fantastic for annoying the living daylights out of the enemy. (I speak from being said enemy.) But don’t expect them to take ground. - Orkan/Storm Fujin. If one of these drops in behind you or manages to sneak up on you (yes, I’ve done it and had it done to me), they are lethal. Orkan Fujin in particular is good for killing enemy spawn-rushers in TDM. However once the initial killing spree is over, you’ll probably get melted with plasma. More of a shock-and-awe bot. - Taran Fujin. Good for taking out other Fujins, for pinning down weaker/damaged enemies, and surprisingly good at picking enemies out of the sky at shorter ranges. You will get melted by ambushing plasma griffins at some point, but 3 Tarans gives you a lot more firepower than people think when they see a Fujin. - Tulumbas Fujin. Decent for pinning down enemies and harassing shielded bots. Not the best damage by any means, but in the right places, you can keep enemy bots cowering behind cover. - Punisher Fujin. Decent for wearing down anciles/physical shields, but requires more practice to use well. The long firing time doesn’t always work well with the Fujin, as your best damage is well inside plasma range. - Molot Fujin. Long range harassment. Could cause decent damage if you can keep finding targets, but mainly seems to be for distracting and annoying enemy long range bots.
Personally I like the Taran Fujin. Once I get a 3rd Orkan or 3rd Storm, I’m definitely going to try out those builds as well.

Triple Taran builds are quite powerful, but given the somewhat stationary nature of the Fujin I have preferred the Punisher variant as a good general purpose build. You have the range of 500m for harassment, and also up close you can do serious damage. Tulumbases on a Fujin are also quite effective.
But overall I think the Hydra build is quite devastating these days. A Hydra Fujin left alone can single handedly change the winds of the game.

A Hydra Fujin left alone can single handedly change the winds of the game. 100% correct. A Hydra Fujin left alone, which is unable to push for beacons, will let the other team win
