What is the point of strapping shocktrain to a bot that goes sneaky, no need for it at 500 meters. I want to be able to jump at you with four orkans be unhittable for five seconds and blast you to where robots go when they die. Unlike a dasher the spectre is a certified brawling type bot. Dash bots do not fit in one category. Long range, sure molet. Mid range, shocktrain, scourge and tulubus, absolutely, sure and ok. Short range, taran and orkan, sure and oh yeah. How may inquis. do you see with trebs? none you, don't. Why? It is built to brawl. Just like the spectre. I could just be speaking of things I don't know. It will be interesting to see when it hits the live server. Sneaking behind an opponent, and then jumping to unload 4 Orkans (which kill everything in seconds) while you are in stealth is not "brawling", it's an ambush. The Lancelot is a brawler, completely different style of play. I stand corrected. I don't know why I never think of that forth style of fighting. I love my tharnage. He is an ambusher. So yes I revise my comments about spectre. Hee is an ambush fighter. Which is also a specialty of the dash bots. As I think about it, is that one extra orkan worth it? One on one sure. In a crowd I'll take two dashes and live to fire my 3.

I used to run a Thunder Carnage but I think that it's much more fun to play because it's a high risk - high reward kind of play, while with Dash bots and the Spectre you have really low risk of being taken down. In my opinion, Dash bots will still be kings after the release of the Spectre, but it could earn one or two spots in top tier hangars, especially with Shocktrains.

Agreed on how fun the carnage is. It is a staple in my hangar. I run it more than haechi. I like running my strongest bots last, hoping not to actually get to them.
I also believe the dash bots will still be kind after the spectre arrives, more up side especially haechi with his shield

I can see the Spectre with 4 Storms. THAT would be interesting. The jump doesn't look very high though, so I don't see it jumping over very many obstacles except for the lowest ones.

I said Spector as ambush-style new tactics, but that's right But middle weapons are versatile and should not have 4 weapons slots.

Mk2 the Dragoon and compare. Just did 850k DMG with LVL 8 ones without even trying The weapons deals good damage for sure. It's just that you'll get owned by Specter in all configurations that take advantage of the Dragoon. I hate to say this, but did you try Quad Hydras? Forget Quad Tulus (which the 100m weapon difference is not an issue), but have you seen how easy it is to kill a Fury or Tasha with quad Hydras? That's 2 weapon setups that a Specter can use to completely dominate a Fury/Tasha Dragoon setup. I won't even mention the Molot Specter --- but you must get by now where this is going. The Dragoon is DOA and won't be a viable weapon once Specter arrives. With what you know is coming, how does the Dragoon make sense? DOA LOL go and see Adrian’s clip on Fury Dragoon. It owns EVERYTHING in the two Champs league he played. It’s ridiculously good. I’d cut of my right pinkie to have three maxed Mrk2

Dragoon: 4800 x 4 ammo = 19,200 at lvl 8 Zeus: 11261 at lvl 8 Quad Mk2/12 Tulumbas yields 111K damage in 1 salvo from a the upcoming Specter. The Dragoon is obsolete in arrival. Everyone playing more than a year and half 4 leveled Tulumbas (I have 7 of them). Only the Raijin, Tasha, Fury, and perhaps the Carnage in lower leagues can use the Dragoon effectively. I just can't see getting 3 of these Dragoons when I only need 1 Specter (just to bot level 9 for Tulu use) to completely own all mid-range heavies (zero chance you'll get a Dragoon to hit a Tulu Specter at Champion level skills) in just 20-25 seconds. The Dragoon is a non-starter when everyone knows the Specter is coming. Save your resources and skip the Dragoon, just like every seasoned pilot skipped the Redeemer.

Well, now that they’re out, I have one on my strider and I can’t tell how many fury’s I’ve taken down with it. I’ve lost tack. So to say it’s obslotete is a bit naive. I have two molots that compliment it. Oh, and the specter is tissue paper. A smart defense using a haechi 400 meters out allows a double dash and easy kill once the stealth wears off.

Specter in Quad Hydras, Quad Shocktrains, Quad Tulus are joining tri Scourge/Shocktrain Bulgies on the mid-range top end Leagues. In knifer range, the quad Orkan or Taran Specter is taking over positions the Inq and Bulgie used to. Im not seeing much of the Redeemer or the Dragoon really. It's a okay weapon, but as a Champion, I can't justify it in my hangar. Too many better setups in the mid-range role are available that are cheaper (why buy 3 Dragoon when everyone already has 4 Tulus, 4 Orks, 4 Hydras, etc.) that I field that can delete a Dragoon Tasha/Fury Dragoons in 2-3 salvos (my Quad Hydra or Quad Tulus for example). I think most Champs have come to the same conclusion I have about the Dragoon --- it's good weapon, but.....
