Runs a little like War Robots but no auto aim.
100 people per map. Massive play area that gets smaller due to poison gas. So TDM with a diminishing map size, no campers here as they'll die quick. Drive-able vehicles to get you places ...or kill people with. Hunt down the weapons of your choice, want to brick someone, go find a brick. RPG if you can find it. So far pretty entertaining.
Downside, really really small people to find. Really hard to get the hang of running / shooting. Some lag, but that's quite possibly my connection. Oh, the only names you see, if you're on team play, is your team mates, there's nothing to give away the enemy's position. A nifty add on, replay for your death. It's quick, fast and brutal.
Just to add, terrain shows damage, so when bullets whizz by, you can work out where the shots came from, plus a brief red indicator showing the direction.
Anyway. Give it a try.

Sounds like "Fortnite -Battle Royale" that my lad and his friends are playing on x-box. Since the x-box arrival he has given up on War Robots ...

Lol guys, any "Battle Royale" on mobiles right now is PURE CRAP.
If you wanna play "Battle Royale", go for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on PC, period. Wanna play PUBG on your mobile? Wait for the official mobile version to be released by TenCent. All the knock-offs right now is disgustingly lame (no offense to knock-off lovers), some of them are "Knives Out", "Rules of Survival" bla bla bla.
Oh and if you are gonna play PUBG on PC, please ensure your rig has decent horsepower (at least around i5 7th-Gen, 16GB of RAM, GTX970 and above). If your rig is a little dated, go for Fortnite, less taxing on your hardware.
