Hello from the US, tn to be exact. I’ve been playing for a little while and am level 25 silver 1. I was off work during the Christmas holidays and got this game on my iPhone and now I can’t put it down lol. Anyways, it’s been pretty fun so far. A few things I’ve noticed... 1) I feel like I’m advancing way too fast. Maybe because the blue players I’m with do really well but I get blown away sometimes... a lot of the times. My weaponry never really keeps up. 2) Upgrading weapons take wayyyy too long. Maybe because I’m impatient haha. 3) Looking forward to any new updates. These component things are a little much. Lastly, I love Mech so this game hits the sweet spot for me. Thanks

You're probably just impatient. You might be facing tankers, who manipulate loopholes in the league system. And this game is unambiguously P2W, but if you don't mind, it's fine.

It means that the game is obviously a cash grab, and involves stuff that could take years to get available instantly through paying ridiculous amounts of money.

If you feel you're advancing too fast, you may want to hold off on upgrading your gear; otherwise, you will have difficulty competing if you're a F2P player. I've got 2 accounts: one in Master 12/12 some MK2 and another in Gold I think. Interestingly, the lower levels aren't quite the same: The lot of players who really should be in Expert at least are settling in silver-diamond because of increased competition from people with components gear. So assess what your goals are and proceed accordingly. If you don't, you'll find yourself pit against much stronger opponents and this can be demoralizing.

Howdy, kiwi5000 . Welcome to the Forum. Don't be worried about advancing too quickly, or meching out (having all your robots destroyed) before the match ends. It will happen from time to time even when you're in Expert League. If you do Mech out, I would suggest that you sit back and watch the match, observing how those who are still in the match play, and how they survive. You'll be surprised how much you can learn.

Thanks for the advice guys! There’s been a mix of really good and really quick matches. Definitely been learning a lot about strategy and how to stay in the game

1) I feel like I’m advancing way too fast. Maybe because the blue players I’m with do really well but I get blown away sometimes... a lot of the times. I know what you mean. I started in October and I'm Level 30 Gold 3 league. I thought I was advancing too fast, but if you keep playing you'll learn the tricks to improve your skill. When I was Silver 1, I was put in battles with Diamond league players. I took my scrapes but developed my technique to not only survive but to come out on top. I got pasted a lot. Still do from time to time. Use your defeats to hone your abilities and learn from your mistakes.

KIWI5000, I would not and do not spend money on this F****ED up GAME. Where did the options for Domination and Beacon Rush modes go off to? And then there was the other option the DEVS released about a year or so ago. Whatever happened to it? There are plenty of write up concerning that payments have vanished. Apple has stated they have had complaints about the game and the pay structure. It seems as though once you hit level 30 and you are unwilling to pay out loads of money, LOADS, then you will lose more often than not. Before any of you go off on me, ask yourself this: why did the Upper Management decide to do away with so many options within the past six to ten months. This game is not like it used to be. I suppose even the Russians like money to the point they have to muck up a great game and make a PAY TO WIN game. There is no strategy if all you have to do is to pay money to buy weapons you can destroy your opponents with, all from a distance whereas no one gets close to even harm you.

Welcome kiwi! Just don't get emotionally invested in the game... and shoot stuff till it blows up... it's fun then.
