Would having rewards adjust based on victory conditions impact of people stay in a match?
So there are 3 victory conditions and varying payouts could be:
Destroy your enemies: 125% increase in Au and Ag reward.
Beacon timer victory (you hold enough beacons for long enough to win the match): 100% normal pay out.
Held most beacons by the time the match timer expires: 75% reward
The idea is to encourage people to stay and fight. Obviously percentages could be adjust to match needs. Like my 2nd victory condition may be more important so payout at 125%.
Thoughts?

I think a bigger incentive would be to give gold to everyone who didn't leave prematurely (i.e., if you're out of bots, you don't have to hang around). Both teams get: 5 4 3 2 2 2 Winning team gets bonus 3 each or something

Seeing your enemies flee before you: 150% increase in AU and Ag Hearing the lamentation of their robot women: 250% increase in AU and Ag
Seriously though, I agree, a simple fix to adjust the Au payouts and could really alter behavior in a positive manner (reducing dropping out, etc.)

Maybe 1 gold minimum for every player who scores at minimum 100k damage, and gets mech'd out or stays till the match is over. Everyone except the bottom player from each team, so you can't just sit there and idle the whole match.
