What is a clan good for???????

Think of the benefits of a clan in every game to which has offered clans. War Robots is no different. Associating yourself with a clan recognizes you with others. You can fight with members of your clan...with and against. There's a competitive side to being in a clan. Choosing one should be based on what you are looking for. If you are a casual player, perhaps a clan that doesn't have lots of requirements is for you. If you are highly active and have nothing better to do than play War Robots, perhaps a more controlled clan with some competitive requirements works better for you. There are more than enough clans that have perks, such as voice communication, websites, chats, private communities and so forth. If you are interested in joining a clan, search through the recruiting thread and find one that fits you and request to join. If you want to just throw yourself out there to all clans, you can post to the players searching for clans thread.
