One more thing in regard to the new matchmaking. Seems Pixo is thinking about "leagues", but this seems very static to me. It's not only that you sometimes go to smaller robots in order to tone down your hangar to a clanmate for a squad, but it's also obvious that many players like to play with light and/or medium robots only, as the game has a completely different speed and complexity if no Heavies are around. Previously this was possible, as you would rarely encounter heavies with some low-tech hangars of light/mediums.
I think that we should have automatic leagues for this: Players without heavy robots will never be matched up against heavy robots (maybe unless we have a major rubberband problem in player availability). Not sure if there are enough "light" leagues around, but I'd think that many players would actually enjoy playing in a "league" where no heavy robots are around. (Matching up Cossacks, Stalkers, Schützes and Gareths all day long should make for a great game.) Within a league the usual matchmaking would apply, Elo or not.
The "leagues" that Pixo thinks about could still be implemented. Do league play with your best hangar (for rewards and fame), but allow free play where players can set up a hangar and find equally equipped teammates/opponents.

Personally dislike the idea. When everyone fields same weight class bots, it doesn't make much impact on how the game flows other than being generally faster.
And on light class, you will have Gareth and Stalker fests, with the occasional Cossack niche. Medium, Galahad fest, with the occasional Carnage. Heavy is the current meta.
